Throwback Thursday: VIVA LAS VEGAS!

Hi My Loves!!!

I never had a chance to post these pictures of us from our dinner in Vegas on our way back home from L.A, so I figured I would do a Throwback Thursday post :) It's only from a few weeks ago but hey.... it's still in the past haha!!

We needed a place to eat and the babies woke up right before we got into Vegas so I was super excited because I LOVE the Rainforest Cafe! It's been my favorite place since I was a young girl (my Dad would always take us there) and I have always wanted to be able to take my babies there with Jay. It was so cool going there as an adult with my own family. Time flies!

So take a peek into our night in Vegas haha!

Gotta love Lily's face in this picture.... She's a little nervous for some reason.

Lily was figuring What Happens in Vegas, Stays in Vegas so she got a little wild at dinner :)

The Rainforest Cafe is beautiful! So pretty with aquariums and trees everywhere. They have thunderstorms every so often with fake lightning and the sound of rain. It's pretty cool. The animals in there make noises too.

More wild pictures of Lil :) She cracks me up!

Daddy and Phoenix were enjoying their Rotisserie chicken :) Phoenix loved the fishies everywhere but was scared of the gorilla haha!

Phoenix's smile cracks me up in this one! He's so animated. He just loved those fish!!!

He's a little excited!!!

Lily loved the fish too :) She was watching them forever!

We had our dinner, looked around for a while at the fish and then went to valet and waited for our car. This is at the MGM Grand incase you are wondering. MGM Grand has the best lazy river pool ever by the way... I stayed when I was about 20 and it was amazing!

Had to get a picture of Jay and I waiting in the valet area at MGM haha!

So there was a look into a few weeks ago :) Hope you enjoyed our pictures of our wild night in Vegas!!!

Thanks so much for reading!

NYX Butter Gloss Review

Hi My Loves!!!

Today's video is a $40 Drugstore Swap with my good friend Melissa from melmphs on You Tube. We thought it would be a fun video to do and boy was it a challenge!!! Trying to find a good amount of makeup for $40 is harder than it seems! The trick is to search the clearance, coupons and sales at the drugstore.

WATCH MY VIDEO OPENNG THE BOX FROM MELISSA HERE:

One of the items that she sent to me was the NYX Butter Gloss in Peaches & Cream. These go for $5.00 and it was love at first try for me. The color is absolutely gorgeous. A beautiful pink with a touch of coral. The formula is so nice to apply. It glides on so easily, is not sticky at all, hydrates your lips and does not get stuck in the dry bits at all. It makes my lips look glossy and full. They have a sweet vanilla scent which is always yummy and the size of them is perfect for tossing into your clutch, purse or even pocket! These are a Summer Must Have Lip Product for me.

They have 12 shades all together ranging from pale nude pinks all the way up to bright red. The applicator is a doe foot but puts out a lot of color. It's a sheer to medium coverage so it's great for a range of people and ages depending on what you like in a lip gloss. I put two swipes on in the picture below and it gives a great color and that was with absolutely nothing on underneath.

I also wore this with my normal makeup and it lasted surprisingly well. I wouldn't say this is an all day wear lip gloss but it does last you a good few hours at least before you need to re apply. I am highly impressed with these lip glosses and definitely recommend picking some up. For $5 you can't beat it! I will be picking up some more colors for sure :)

So if you are into a soft, silky, glossy, non sticky lip gloss.... with a variety of shades to choose from, pick up these glosses and let me know how you like them!!!!

Don't mind how cruddy I look above, we've been painting all morning and went to bed super late last night watching the movie Side Effects with my boyfriend Channing Tatum and then of course editing :) And of all mornings for Phoenix to decide to wake up at 6am, he chose today haha!!! Pooped out Mama!

Watch what I did yesterday here (SUBSCRIBE if you haven't already):

Thanks so much for watching/reading!

ANd don't forget to check out what I sent to Melissa here!

Have a great day!!!

How To Prepare & Maintain a Spray Tan

Hi My Loves!!!

Today's video is something a little different than I normally do but I thought it might be fun :) A few weeks ago we went away to California and I wanted to get spray tan for the Generation Beauty event that I was attending. I figured all the girls going would have a lovely tan and I didn't want to go feeling pale and un glowy :) So I figured for those of you wondering what getting a Spray Tan consists of.... I would film in there for you, so you could get an idea of what to expect incase you are curious. After all, I've always got your back haha!

I decided to go with the VersaSpa spray tan this time. I've only spray tanned once before a few years ago so this was my first time using VersaSpa. The location I chose was called Versatan and it was super convenient for me as it's close to my parents house (they watched the kids for me) so that worked out perfectly!

So check out my latest video and come and SPRAY TAN WITH ME!!

I also wanted to share the products I use to prepare and maintain my spray tan. You want to get it to last as long as possible, especially if you are getting it before a trip or snazzy event, wedding, honeymoon, etc. Here are the products that helped me to keep it lasting a lot longer. Mine lasted just about 2 weeks all in all which I think is pretty darn good :)

The first thing I used at home before I went was the VersaSpa Sunless Pro Pre Tan Exfoliant. This is a scrub that you use before a spray tan or sunless tanning lotion/spray to help exfoliate all of the dead skin cells off of your skin. I shaved my legs, etc... first and then exfoliated everywhere to help the spray tan go on more even and not stick to any dry spots on my body. It has a nice clean, fresh scent and it exfoliates nicely. It does lather pretty well too.

After my spray tan I wore loose clothing and waited until the next morning to shower. They recommended waiting as long as possible to shower for maximum tanning results. To keep the spray tan looking as good as the first day for a long period of time, I washed my body with the VersaSpa Sunless Pro Body Cleanser. This is specifically designed to help maintain your sunless tan/spray tan. It has a clean, fresh scent again and lathers nicely as well. Leaves you feeling clean but moisturized as it's a nice creamy formula. You don't feel like it's stripping off your tan every time you wash which I really feel helped to keep my tan looking as good as new the whole 2 weeks. I highly recommend getting this as I feel it really helped to keep my tan :)

I didn't actually use this while on my trip as I was trying to cut back on big, bulky things to pack however I have used it after a sunless tanning that I did at home, as well as just using it as a daily gradual tanner. It can be used as both. Using it after a sunless or spray tan to help maintain it works amazingly at keeping and intensifying your tan. It also moisturizes really well. It does feel very moisturized for a long time which is nice but it does take quite a while to dry after you apply it, so it's a bit of a pain to apply if you are in a rush because you feel like you will get it over your clothes. It does work really well though, it gives you a great color and definitely helps to keep your tan lasting longer. It does give you a bit of a burnt toast smell though so keep that in mind. Maybe use it up until the night of the event and then skip that specific day. If you are like me and don't go out much then it's not a big deal :) Jay thinks I smell nice all the time haha!!!

It comes out like it's going to be a mousse but it is thick and creamy like a lotion. A little bit goes a long way so this will last a really long time!

Here is the consistency of the body cleanser and the exfoliant.

So there are my thoughts on my 2nd spray tan and how I kept the color lasting for a long time. I highly recommend getting a VersaSpa spray tan. It was natural looking, lasted a great amount of time and was very quick and easy to do. It literally took about 2 or 3 minutes to spray and a total of about 15 minutes in all to do. It's great for people like me who don't want to tan in beds or lay out for hours in the sun but still want to have that beautiful, tan glow.

I hope this has helped :)

Our Trip to Disneyland in Pictures!

Hi My Loves!!!

Get ready to see a million pictures haha! Ok maybe not that many but a lot! We went to Disneyland while we were down in California a couple of weeks ago and it was so much fun. Phoenix was a little overwhlmed after going on his first ride (the toad one).... WARNING!!!! If you have young children skip that ride! It's scary!!!! He cried his head off in there and it traumatized him for the rest of the day. After that he didn't want to go on any more rides at all, so that was a major bummer. Not even the tea cups :( Lily on the other hand had a blast! She absolutely loved Disneyland and was a little angel the whole day. Phoenix did enjoy the parade so we watched that twice and he loved the fireworks too.

TO WATCH OUR VLOG OF DISNEYLAND:

So here is our trip to Disneyland in pictures :) ENJOY!

Here's the parade. It was so fun and beautiful! They did such a great job with the music, the floats, costumes and actors were amazing!

WATCH THE PARADE HERE:

Ariel was my favorite :)

We loved Tinkerbell too!

Mary Poppins!

The flowers and trees were so pretty there. I loved these ones.

We climbed up Tarzan's tree house which was very fun :) Phoenix loved it!

Toontown was so cute!

He loved this fountain :) Finally a smile haha!

GOOFY!!!

Lily was rather intrigued by the Goofy Gas station :)

Minnie's house was so cute :) Lily loved it in there!

Phoenix wasn't interested in going in so he just waited outside with Daddy haha :)

Me asking Phoenix if he wanted a picture with Minnie to which he replied "NO!" LOL!

He finally came around and decided to go to Mickey's House. That is way bigger than it looks! It took forever standing in line! But it was very cute and very fun :)

Phoenix would not let go of his "blank" the whole time we were down there, poor little guy!

Me vloggin'.....

Phoenix was scared of Mickey too... poor little fellow just was not into it. I recommend waiting till your kids are older so they can truly appreciate it ;) Although Lily really loved it!

Here's the parade again. Phoenix and Lily loved the Princesses :) They were beautiful!

Then it was night time and the castle lit up so beautifully! It was magical for sure :)

Lily was asleep by then so she was tucked away in her carseat and Phoenix was in a pretty good mood by the end of the night once it had cooled down. It was so hot that day!

Here's Phoenix taking some pictures of the castle :) We were waiting for the fireworks.

FIREWORKS!!! They were so beautiful they made me cry. Just to know that we were able to take our kids to Disneyland made me emotional and made me think of my Mom and how she would have loved to have been there with us. The music was so pretty and it was just a magical moment being there with my hubby and beautiful babies.

ANd here's the pictures Phoenix took :)

I hope you liked seeing Disneyland through our eyes. We had so much fun and can't wait to take the kids back.... maybe in a few years this time ;)

Thanks so much for reading/watching!
