#ThrowbackThursday: A Little Me & My First Lipstick!

Hi My Loves!!

It's that time again for my favorite blog post..... #ThrowbackThursday :) I just LOVE doing these. It gives me the opportunity to look at my old photo albums and share little bits of my past with you. We are going all the way back to my childhood today. I haven't looked at these pictures in so long, so it was nice to go through them all.

Here's me when I was maybe 3 or 4? I look like I'm around Phoenix's age. This was in England. I like the fact that I have food on my shirt, makes me feel like I'm not the only one who has children with food on their shirts haha! Don't I look like Phoenix here?

I love this picture of me. I look so sweet and happy. I love that dressing gown my Mom is wearing. She used to wear it all the time. I wish I still had it. My hair is so golden in this picture. So pretty :)

I used to love clip on earrings. This was in England as well. I think it was at my Nanny's house (Grandma). How cute are my brother and sister? I love her bangs, she's like a little doll. Her eyes were so big when she was little ;)

This was the first time I wore lipstick. We were at my Nanny's house and my cousin and I thought we were really grown up with our lipstick on. I wasn't sure how to smile with it on haha! Look how cute BS is puckering up her lips :) I love this picture of all of us with out cousins. I miss them so much, they live in England.

Here's my Great Grandma. Her name was Little Nanny because she was so tiny. She was quite old here and didn't have the best memory in the world. She was very sweet. I like her wallpaper :) My Mom used to wear those huge glasses, she couldn't see without them. That was my favorite coat. I loved it, I used to wear it all the time. How beautiful is my Mom's skin? I don't know what happened to me to get such crap skin. I wish I had hers but I think I got my Dad's side of the family's instead :(

Here's my little ID card for school when we lived in Tahoe. I was in 5th grade here. I think it's cool to know how much I weighed back then haha! 77 pounds! I used to wear that vest a lot. I liked wearing headbands too :)

This was in 7th grade. That's my natural hair color although I'm sure it's more ashy now. My mom curled my hair for me and I remember not wanting to wash it because then it wouldn't look as pretty.

Last but not least.... my Mommy :) Isn't she beautiful? Her skin was olive and so perfect. My sister takes after her in that department. Her hair was so thick and healthy just like my sister too. Today was tough looking at pictures of her. Some days are easier than others when you've lost a parent or any loved one. Sometimes I can look at her and smile and then sometimes (like today) it makes me want to cry. I get sad that she's gone and wish I could just hug her. It's tough but I know I'm not alone with these feelings. I'm just feeling kinda down today so I wish I could just call her. She always knew how to make me feel better. She was my best friend and I miss her very much. She got dolled up when she threw parties for our friends. I used to sit in the bathroom with her and watch her do her hair and makeup and pick out her jewelry. Appreciate and take advantage of the time you have with your Mom's. You will miss them when they are gone. I do everyday.

Hope you enjoyed my #ThrowbackThursday this week. I'll see you in my video tomorrow! Hope you liked my latest video with my brother too!

#WhatsNewWednesday: My Brother Does My Makeup... CLOSE UPS!

Hi My Loves!!!

This weeks #WhatsNewWednesday is something new for my brother. Today was my brother's last day staying with us before he heads back to Tahoe. I wanted to film a video with him before he left and a lot of you had asked for "My Brother Does My Makeup" as a video this week. Brad has never done any makeup before so that's why this is "New" for him :) We did it and here are the results....

BE SURE TO WATCH THE VIDEO HERE:

DON'T FORGET TO SUBSCRIBE TO BRAD'S CHANNELS: BradScottFitness & BradScottPhotography

I wanted to show some close ups of his work. Technically I did fix it a little because I wiped some of it off, which now I regret doing because it doesn't show his true work haha! This was the first time he had ever done makeup and I think he did a pretty decent job considering :) It's all about having fun after all!

Please excuse my Volcano zits :(
I had a reaction to a new product this week (will my skin ever just be nice to me haha)....

We had so much fun and it gave Brad a new appreciation for the work us women go through to look beautiful :)

Thanks so much for watching....

A Henry Hugglemonster Birthday.....

Hi My Loves!!!

This week we had Phoenix's 3rd Birthday Party. He had asked for weeks for a Henry Hugglemonster cake so that was my main focus for this party. Henry is not the most accessible little Diney fellow so I spent a lot of time online trying to find everything to make his Hugglemonster wishes come true haha! Thanks to everyone who sent links to places that had Hugglemonster things, I really appreciate it ;)

The first thing I found was this delightful little Henry fondant sculpture. I found it on Etsy and loved how it turned out. So cute, a good size and was in perfect condition when it arrived.

Next thing I did was printed off a picture of Henry and took it down to our local Baskin Robbins and let our favorite lady there work her Hugglemonster magic. I think she did a "Roarsome" job :)

The fondant was heavy and decided to slide off but that's ok!

Phoenix loved his cake. He said it was really cool and it was delicious!!

Haha I love this!!!

I did have some other cute Henry Hugglemonster things but I was so busy that morning I forgot to take pictures of it ;( But you can see them on our vlog!

WATCH IT HERE:

Phoenix got some really cool toys but his favorites were from Uncle Brad which was a cool car track.... they played with it for hours ;)

Lily loved the My Little Pony's that she hid when I was making up the goody bags haha! Uncle Brad and Lily played horsies for a while.....

Phoenix's most favorite toy was from BS. A camera type thingy that you put your iPhone in it and it takes pictures that you can add little designs to. She didn't actually know I had to put my phone in it, but it was too late haha! He had already fallen in love. He's taken some really cool pictures so that's all that matters :)

That's a little more of Phoenix's special day :)

Hope you had a great Monday!

Fashion Friday (Kids): 1 Shirt/Dress, 5 Ways!

Hi My Loves!!!

So I've really been enjoying doing my #WhatsNewWednesday & #ThrowbackThursday blog posts. They keep me in check and motivated to make a blog post that day. Because I know what kind of post I need to do for that day it makes them much easier for me to accomplish. I thought it might be fun to add another one into the mix. So starting today I'm going to be doing #FashionFridays as well. Every Friday will be something to do with Fashion. Whether it's an outfit of the day type post for me, a kids fashion or ootd or even one fashion piece I'm loving.... you can see it here on Friday's :)

Does your child have a favorite shirt or dress that they always want to wear but you don't want them to look like they are always wearing the same outfit? Today's #FashionFriday is going to be a post on how to take that one favorite shirt or dress of theirs and style it into 5 different outfits ;)

(A special thank you to my gorgeous models who were very patient while I took these pictures..... I have a new found respect for baby/child photographers lol)

Here's Phoenix in his casual chic outfit ;) Phoenix is a sweatpant kind of guy. He loves to be comfy, so these pants are the perfect balance of comfort and style! They look like tweed but feel like sweats.

Next is the more colorful option for the perfect Spring time outfit. Pull out your shades cuz it's getting bright!! I love the bright zippers of these super comfy pants.

Every boy needs a classic dark jean :)

If you live in a cold place like we do, then a nice cozy jacket is a must. This one has an amazingly soft hood which looks rather fabulous on but Phoenix wouldn't let me get a picture of him with it on haha!

Jacket: Sherpa Hoodie // Pants: Contrast Denim

Last but not least for my gorgeous model Phoenix is a very snazzy mustard outfit. Every little guy needs a murstard vest in their life after all ;) Thanks to my Aunt for this vest, it came all the way from England. The nice thing about these pants is that they are a softer material for a jean type pant, so they are not super stiff and uncomfortable.

Vest: Rebel // Pants: Cuffed Twill Pant

Can you tell he was done getting changed into a million outfits and his picture taken haha? Shortly after this he asked me to get his pj's back on and ran off.

Now onto my little princess Lily :) For Lily, I chose a cute striped dress to style 5 ways. Ladies need a good dress in their life!

Feeling chilly? Just add a super cozy cream, teddy bear eared jacket :)

Switch up the leggings, add a new hair bow and a different top and you have a whole new vibe ;)

Hairbow: Graceful by Anna // Top: Music Love Ruffle Tee // Leggings: Carters

Just changed the top and hair bow again :) It's all about LOVE!

Top: (A gift from England) // Headband: Graceful by Anna // Leggings: Carters

And to end it off... my favorite outfit of all. Same dress and leggings as the first outfit with a super adorable green jacket and different hair bow. This jacket is super soft. Perfect for St. Patricks day!!

Hairbow: Graceful By Anna // Jacket: Color Knit Jacket

So there you go :) One shirt and dress styled 5 ways. We love colorful outfits, especially now that Spring will be here soon! It just makes life more cheerful :)

Hope you are all having a lovely week so far!
