#HomeDecor Goals

Right now I'm majorly into white or pink faux fur everything. Rugs, chairs, throws. You name it, I'd want it in white/pink faux fur. So today's post is going to be some major inspiration for our home. Just things that I would love to have to decorate our home and bring a little bit of my obsession, into my actual life. So far I have the pillows, and I have the throws but my next mission is to add seating to my collection. I hope you enjoy the items that I've chosen.

Cozy Up for Fall with Chesapeake Bay Candles

Fall is officially here. We've been having quite the festive weather here in Tahoe. It's been so rainy, windy and cold, so I'm in full Fall spirit now. I actually started decorating our home a while ago for Fall, but I've slowly been adding pieces here and there.

I recently got some new candles from Chesapeake Bay and I wanted to share how I styled them around my other decor for Fall. The Heritage Collection is perfect for Fall because the scents are cozy and remind me of pumpkin bread or cinnamon rolls baking in the oven. They're made from a soy wax blend, with natural essential oils and they're designed and poured in the UD. I also love the wooden top. It ties in really nicely with the wood around our home and all of the warm tones of my other Fall decor. The candles are made in Maryland with ingredients found around the world. The packaging is inspired by Maryland's shoreline, so it has that beachy, coastal vibe but still works perfectly in our very Tahoe, woodsy decor.

If you love sweet, frosting type scents, then Vanilla Biscotti is the one for you. It smells like you're baking a cake with extra yummy frosting. It's sweet but still very Fall inspired. It's got a nice warmth to it because of the vanilla and nutmeg.
Essential Oils: Cinnamon & Davana
$15 Small Jar
 Burn Time: Approximately 20 Hours

By adding a wooden circle tray underneath, the Give Thanks sign an the stick pumpkin, it makes our bar look festive and cozy. Plus it smells really good if someone sits there to chat while I'm cooking.

If you love pumpkin lattes, then the Pumpkin Latte candle is perfect for you. It's such a warm, cozy scent with praline, pecans and pumpkin. It's sweet and it's the definition of a Fall scent. This one is my favorite out of the ones I have. It's delicious.
Essential Oils: Cinnamon Leaf Oil, Benzoin & Bay Oil
$20 Large Jar (shown)
$15 Small Jar
Burn Time: Approximately 80 Hours for the Large Jar Candle and 20 Hours for the Small Jar Candle

This tray is on our kitchen table. I have my straws for drinks, some fun little pumpkins, my pumpkin jar that is great for storing little fall colored kisses or protein bars. The candle pulls the whole thing together to add a little bit more festiveness and color. Don't you just love the packaging?

Firewood Fig is a nice scent for both men and women. I know some men aren't into the super sweet or baked goods type scents, so this one would be perfect, if you prefer something a bit more woodsy. It's very fresh, almost beachy, in the Fall type of way.
Essential Oils: Orange
$15 Small Jar
 Burn Time: Approximately 20 Hours

Next we have the holiday assortment votive set. I've scattered these little gems around our living room. These are cute and small and have a nice range of scents. This would also be a really great Christmas gift idea.

To me Balsam Fir smells like I'm walking through a Pine Tree farm, searching for the perfect tree to bring home for Christmas. Now I don't actually know if I've ever done that. I could have when I was young but I can't remember. Now we have a fake white tree, but I imagine this candle is what finding a real Christmas tree would smell like. I might just have to go and do that this year with the kids just for fun. I like the idea of real trees but I find it to be so messy and with pets, I can't imagine it's a good idea. Either way, this candle actually screams Christmas to me. It's just lovely. It's got evergreen pine, fresh balsam, spiced pomander with hints of clove, amber and spearmint.
Essential Oils: Cedarleaf, Cedarwood, Patchouli & Spearmint

Cinnamon Spice has rich cinnamon spice with notes of Eucalyptus, vanilla, bay leaf, nutmeg, sugar clove and cinnamon bark. It's a modern take on the classic cinnamon spice candle. It's fresh enough to have in the bathroom but cozy enough to enjoy by the fireplace. It's a nice mixture.
Essential Oils: Clove Leaf, Eucalyptus, Lime & Patchouli

Snow by the Shore has notes of fresh mint, galbanum, sage leaf, white violet, ivy, rose sparkle, creamy sandalwood, musk and warm tonka. WHOA! That's a lot of yummy scents all into one candle. It's creamy, fresh and woodsy at the same time. I really like this scent and I'm pretty sure we will have more snow before we know it. I'll be lighting this baby up and enjoy watching the snowflakes drift down, while I sit by the fire.
Essential Oils: Cedarwood & Lemon

$15 Whole Set of 3
Burn Time: Approximately 8 hours each votive.

Don't you love how cute the votives look? I love the clean, white packaging. These would be great for bathroom decor as well.

Ok guys, there you have it. A little peek into my home and how I decorate with these festive candles. These smell so good guys. If you've never tried Chesapeake Bay candles out before, I highly recommend you do. Not only do they smell amazing, but the packaging is really gorgeous, so it makes decorating your home for the holidays, while making it smell nice too, easy.
