Doggy Cupcake Recipe! Happy 10th Birthday Moo :)

Hi My Loves!!!

Today was my little Moo's 10th Birthday. I can't believe I have already had her for 10 years! It's so crazy how fast time flies. We had a little birthday party for her today so I decided to make some doggy friendly cupcakes for her and our doggy friends ;)

Before we get started on the recipe I just had to share this picture of Moo when she was a puppy. She was the cutest puppy I had ever seen. Isn't she so precious?

And 10 years later she's still the cutest doggy I've ever seen ;)

Now onto the recipe. Here's what I used. I just got the recipe from HERE and did cupcakes instead of a single cake and left out the vanilla.

1 egg
1/4 cup peanut butter
1/4  cup oil
1/3 cup honey
1 cup shredded carrots
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking soda

1. Preheat oven to 350 F.

2. Combine the egg, peanut butter, oil and honey in a large bowl, blend well. Stir in the carrots and mix thoroughly. Add flour and baking soda and fold into the carrot mixture. Spoon cake batter into cupcake baking cups.

3. Bake in preheated over for 20 minutes. Remove and let cool completely.

4. Once cooled grab your dogs favorite dog treat, add peanut butter to the back and place on the top of the cupcake.

That's it ;) Let your doggy enjoy! Moo and all the other doggies loved their cupcakes and so did the horses, donkeys and mini horse :)

Here's how they turned out. The heart treats are from Target by Woof. They are carob which the dogs LOVED!!

So Happy Birthday to my very first baby. I love my Moo so much. She's the best dog I could ever ask for and I'm so glad I have been able to have her through all of the exciting adventures in my life :)

Hope your doggies enjoy these as much as Moo did!

Happy Friday! Hope you all have a great weekend.

Throwback Thursday: Brother, Mother & Me in Junior High!

 Hi My Loves!!

As promised I have another Throwback Thursday for you, where I take you on a trip down memory lane with me :) I just love looking through my old photo albums. It's so fun.

Here's a picture of me when I lived in England. I was 14 I think, so this was 9th grade. I had to wear a school uniform but of course altered it a little to be a rebel. I always had a baggy shirt untucked with my tiny fat tie haha! I used to get told off all the time to make my tie higher and tuck my shirt in... oh and to wear less pink sparkly eyeshadow ;)

Here's another one of me in England. I was at lunch with my friends in TGIF. That's the pink sparkly eyeshadow I was talking about. It went all the way up to my eyebrows. That's back when I still had eyebrows :) Random Fact: I used to want a nose job. It was so big. My nose grew before the rest of my face and it just seemed so out of place. I was always pushing it down hoping that it would be less pointy. Luckily my face grew into my nose and now I quite like it. It's still a bit pointy from the side but it could be worse ;)

Here's my Mommy when she was sick. We lived in England and it had been a few months since she'd found out that she had cancer. She always used to wear satin pajamas and now whenever I see them they make me smile. We got a new kitten, his name was Simba and he was really cute. He had fleas once and we had to bomb the whole house and stay out of it forever. It's funny the things you remember.

Here's one of my brother, Dad and Baby Sistor when we had moved back to Tahoe after my Mom passed away. My brother used to have me color his hair all the time because he started going grey at 17. We dyed it black and he had a surfer/snowboard hairstyle haha. I'm glad he goes au natural now! This was a Christmas party at our favorite place Ernie's. My sister asked me to put a ton of tiny braids in her hair lol! Doesn't she look exactly the same? She never changes, it's so weird.

My brother is most likely on the plane right now flying back from Hawaii to California. I'm so excited because he's planning on coming to visit us and I can't wait. It will be so nice to see him and have him so much closer than flying over the ocean to see him. I'm so lucky to be so close to my brother, Dad and sister. I love them so much. I can't imagine not having a good relationship with my family. It happens all the time with families but luckily for me, we all like each other :)

Last but not least is a picture of me in the old hair salon I worked at. Jay and I had just moved back from Hawaii, so it was 2008. I was 23. I was wearing Mac Studio Fix foundation. My skin looks so pretty, it makes me want to wear it again but I'm pretty sure a few weeks after this I broke out with tiny white bumps all over my face. It sure does look flawless here though haha! I loved my hair here. It was a reddish brown in Hawaii and then I wanted to go back to blonde so we added a bunch of highlights to it. I used to wear my hair curled almost every day back when I had time. I look so young and glowy, it makes me want to make my hair this color, cut it and go to a MAC store :)

There we go :) That's my Throwback Thursday for this week. Hope you enjoyed. Let me know if you like these. I enjoy doing the, so I hope you enjoy reading them :)

Hope you are all having a lovely week so far!

Romantic Eyes & Cheeks GRWM w/ That's Heart Palette

#What'sNewWednesday: BH Cosmetics Forever Nude & Forever Glam Swatches!

Hi My Loves!!

I'm going to be doing a new thing on my blog, where every Wednesday I show a new product I've gotten, a new thing that's going on, basically just something new to me that's going on. I'm going to call it #What'sNewWednesday. If you vlog or blog feel free to do the same and use the same hashtag :)

For today's #What'sNewWednesday I am going to be showing you the new palettes from BH Cosmetics. They have just come out with these two, Forever Nude & Forever Glam. The Forever Nude is the more nude, rosy colored tones and the Glam is the brighter, more dramatic palette.

These retail for $11.95 on BH Cosmetics website.

Let's talk about Forever Nude first.

The packaging is really pretty, it's a pale pinky peach. It is a little big so probably not the best for sticking in a makeup bag or traveling if you are low on space. It's plastic and pretty lightweight.

Inside you have a really big mirror which is really great. There are two shimmery blushes, one highlight shade, 2 lip colors and 6 eyeshadows.

The two blushes are very soft, shimmery colors. They leave a nice sheen on the skin and are really pretty. The highlight color seems more like a setting powder to me. I didn't really see any sheen or what I would expect of a highlight at all so for me, it's a miss.

The lipcolors are actually very pigmented and really pretty. There is a peachy nude and a frosty barbie pink.

There are 6 shadows. Two matte and 4 shimmer. The top right one is my very favorite. It's absolutely beautiful on, applys nice and pigmented and leave a beautiful warm, rose gold brown shimmer to the lids.

From Top to Bottom:
Very dark matte eggplant
Shimmery Golden Brown *SUPER BEAUTIFUL*
 Golden Cream
Matte Dusty Pink
Rose Gold Peachy Brown *MY FAVE*
Frosty Cool Pink

These shadows are all nicely pigmented and apply really beautifully on the lids. They blended really easily. I love the warm, shimmery tones. This palette would be perfect for Valentine's Day looks, bridal makeup and every day wear. If you love nude colors, this one is for you. This is definitely my favorite of the two palettes.

Forever Glam is for those of you who love a bit of color in your life. It's bright, dramatic and very fun.

There is a sparkly peach blush and a matte bright pink blush. The highlight is a very shimmery cool toned color. It's almost got a hint of a purple undertone to it. I feel like it might come off a little to frosty on the cheek but I haven't tried it out yet on my face so I can't tell you from experience.

These lip colors are gorgeous. The red actually looks a lot more red in the palette. Once swatched, it has a red, pink tone to it which I think will be really flattering on. Again, very pigmented and opaque. The pink is a true bright barbie pink.

You can see below the purple toned, frosty highlight. I'm just not too sure about this color. It's almost grey on the skin. The pink, matte blush is like any other matte pink blush. The sparkly peach is really pretty and will probably be the one I would tend to choose out of the two.

All of the shadows in the Glam palette are shimmery and are really gorgeous. They all swatch beautifully. The blue is a little weak from first swatch but once you swatch again it's a super cool color and really eye catching.

From Top To Bottom:
Bright electric purple
Midnight black blue *SO BEAUTIFUL*
Shimmery taupe *LOVE THIS*
Antique Gold *FAVE*
Peach Pink
Pale goldy peach

You can see how amazing these swatch. The shimmer on these colors are so nice and that blue is just the coolest color!

They are all nicely pigmented and really great colors.

Overall these palettes are really great for the price. For just over $10 the quality is very nice, pigmented and a nice selection of colors. The shadows in the glam are really gorgeous but for me I would probably get more use out of the Forever Nude. Either way, it's preference and it's something I would recommend. Great colors, great price and it's nice that you have the blushes, the lip and the shadows. If you've been wondering about these, I say go ahead and pick one or both up. It might even be a great Valentine's Day present ;)

Hope this helped!

Thanks so much for reading :)

Valentine's Day Gift Guide & Giveaway for Her!

Grammy's 2014 Best Dressed!

Hi My Loves!!!

It's that time again... award shows best dressed and today's was The Grammy's. I'm going to be sharing my best dressed women of the night. There was a whole lot of women looking gorgeous in red and a lot of sparkly gowns.

Like I did with the Golden Globes, I will be sharing how to take these One of a Kind Red Carpet Styles into One of a Kind daytime looks. Pulling inspiration from the stars fabulous gowns and making it something wearable for every day.

#1. Colbie Caillat
This dress is fabulous. I happen to be a total sucker for high necks. I think there is something so elegant about them. The slit across the chest keeps it young and sexy without showing too much. The red on her is absolutely beautiful and I love the train and how the fabric just hugs her body so perfectly. I can't say I'm too excited about her hair and makeup. I feel like a softer eye and maybe a slightly more put together updo would have looked better. Maybe a really chic, wrapped top knot would have been better, seeing as this looks like she ran out of time and quickly threw it up (looks like mine most of the time haha).. but she still looks so gorgeous.

#2. Taylor Swift
Yes, I am featuring Taylor Swift again. She wowed me at the Golden Globes and this time again! This dress is so sparkly and elegant. I feel like it's age appropriate but still so glamorous. That's what I like about Taylor Swift. She always keeps it classy. I also really love her darker blonde hair. I think it really makes her eyes pop. The simple jewelry is perfect with the ever so blingy dress. She looks like a fairy or some kind of princess out of a Disney movie. I love her eye makeup. It's mesmerizing.

#3. Chrissy Teigen
Here's another very sparkly, sequined dress that looks like it was made for her body. She looks like a goddess in it. The gold sequins look so good against her skin and I love that she left her hair down in that loose tousled wave. Again, very simple jewelry and the front slit shows off her delicate gold heels. I really love this. It's like grecian goddess meets the little mermaid and that in my book, is a great mixture :)

#4. Pink
Ok, first of all let's talk about Pink's performance. How amazing was she?? That girl can sing, do crazy air stunts and look amazing all at the same time. Most singers can't even stand there and sing in tune live, let alone be twizzling around in the air! I have loved Pink since I was 13 or 14 (whenever she came out) but I have a new respect for her after seeing her skills. Her voice sounded great and her body is seriously rock solid! Now to the dress. This is so perfect on her. It shows off her amazing arms and shoulders, hugs her body and the satin bottom makes it feminine and sexy. I love the satin v that really elongates her small frame. Her hair color is perfect too!

#5. Giuliana Rancic
I love Giuliana. She always looks so sophisticated. She always picks the prefect dresses for her body, she's never afraid of color yet she always makes it look so classy. Giuliana has the smoky eye mastered as well. Her eyes always look so great. I love this dress on her. The neckline is so flattering and I love the orange lace. I'm obsessed with lace anyway, my Mom always used to wear those turtle neck laced bodysuits from Victoria's Secret so I just really have a soft spot for lace. The little peekaboo skin in the middle is just enough. The shape is perfect on her long, lean body and I love that she kept her lips nude, eyes smoky and hair up and off her face to showcase that beautiful neckline. I think if I could steal anyone's wardrobe in Hollywood, it would be Giuliana's. She's got great taste.

This time I'm going to create one look for you from Giuliana's Red Carpet One of A Kind Style into a day time look that's perfect for work, school, shopping or a lunch date.

I didn't take a picture of my face because it's 11:45 at night and I look horrible :) But here's my day time outfit inspired by Giuliana's orange lace. The angle of this camera makes my legs look so short, they are short in real life but not this short haha!

Converse Black Skinny Leg Pants ~ Target // Orange Lace Tank ~ Sam's Club // White Tank ~ Sam's Club // Cream Blouse ~ H&M // Leopard Flats ~ Melissa // Longitude Purse ~ Just Fab
