Hauler Deals Goodies :)

Hi My Loves!!!

I was recently contacted by Hauler Deals to be a guest guru on their website (yay)... I was super excited and said yes! I basically got to pick out some of the items from their website and got to create an online boutique with the items I picked :) You can purchase these items here!

Here's the things I picked out and the swatches.

I chose some makeup, skincare and a purse. Here's what I got.

Global Goddess i- Divine Eye Color. Packaging is nice and sleek with a nice gold design on the top. 

Darjeeling is like a khaki green taupe color. It comes out more taupe on the eye than green. This is the least pigmented of the three but is a really great transition color for the crease. Great for those who like the more neutral tones.

Shambala is my new favorite color. A beautiful peach with a nice sheen to it. This is so pretty on blue yes and perfect for the Spring/Summer. It brightens up any eye :)

Kumaon is a beautiful warm medium brown with a shimmer. Nicely pigmented and blends very easily, this is a perfect brown for a soft smoky eye or a nice dark crease.

I will the say the packaging looks kinda 90's or something like that. It's not the snazziest packaging in the world but no biggy, it's not the box I put on my eye :)

The Purse is my favorite thing I received out of everything. I have been using this since the day I got it and I love it. It's been working perfectly for me as a diaper bag. It's nice and big and holds everything I need in there and it's a little more stylish than my Winnie The Pooh diaper bag haha!!! I love that is has the option to either carry it with the short strap or to use the longer strap (I use mine like a messenger bag so that nothing slips off my shoulder and whacks Phoenix when I pick him up haha)....

It's got one big compartment inside with a zipper pouch and 2 little pouches on the opposite side.

ANother zipper pouch on the outside for keys or whatever you like :)

I also picked out the Cures Age Defyer Eye Cream. Gotta take care of those eye wrinkles before they start peeking out ;) The smell is terrible but the formula is great for my sensitive skin and eyes. No watering, burning or itchiness so I can look past the stink of it. It does smell yucky though, so keep that it mind if you are all about the scent. It feels nice and not too greasy. I can't say I've noticed a difference yet as it's only been a week.

LOVE this polish. Perfect pinky purple for spring. In the sunlight it has little purple shimmers that look so pretty. The formula is great. Goes on really nicely, no streaking, not too thick or clumpy and dries super shiny and smooth. It doesn't chip super quickly at all, it more so just fades of the tips. I really like this polish a lot :)

Last but not least is the Skindinavia Makeup Finishing SPray. This isn't the frist time I've tried Skindinavia. It's a nice fine mist to help keep your makeup in place all day. Formulated for sensitive skin and has not bothered me or my eyes, so that's always nice ;) Plus it feel amazing to spray on in the summer when you are hot!

Phoenix's 2 Year Update!

I try to capture all of the cute things Phoenix says on our daily vlog channel but he seems to prefer to chat off camera haha!! I thought I would make a list just to be able to keep this to look back on when he's older and for an idea of what I can expect for Lily once she's at the talking age.

It's actually amazing, once you write everything down that they say... you realize it's a lot more than you thought! I showed Jay the list and we were both really surprised seeing it written down. Try it!!

That's all that I could think of at the moment :) Now obviously these words aren't perfectly clear like you or I would say but they are clear enough so that he can let us know what he wants, which is amazing. This age is fabulous because I feel like you really get to start building such a great relationship with them. They can express how they are feeling or what they want or need and the frustration (for him) of not being able to communicate is no longer a problem. I just love it :) Every stage of his life so far has been so different and it just keeps getting better and better. 

We went to the doctor's on Thursday and had his 2 year wellness check. We got to talk about potty training with her and of course got his measurements. She said he's doing great and he's around the 75th percentile for both weight and height :) She gave us some tips on the potty training and told us that being patient and doing it when he's ready is the most important thing. Right now we are slowly introducing it to him so that he becomes familiar with it and likes it. Phoenix just turned 2 this month and our pediatrician recommended introducing it to him now but she said he'd probably be closer to 2 1/2 or 3 before he's ready to be fully potty trained... so we shall see ;) If you guys have any tips and tricks on what worked for your little ones, please let me know in the comments below! Any advice would be helpful :) I have other Mommy's that have kids that were potty trained ranging from 18 months up until 3 1/2 so I'm guessing it really varies depending on the child?

Now I feel like I've recorded some important toddler document or something haha!!! These things are important to keep track of, it's amazing how quickly they grow up and before you know it you can't remember certain things.

Some days look like this.....

Hi My Loves!!!

Here was our day today. We didn't do much. We went to play group and had lots of fun playing with our friends. We had lunch. We took naps..... and then we played around on photo booth for a long time :) We sent video messages to Daddy so he could be in on the fun while he was at work. We took funny pictures together and some of Lil too. These are the days I love the most. Watching my little man giggle his little heart out because he thinks he looks funny. It's amazing that even at 2, he knows that that is a funny face.

Some might think my life is rather routine or dull. Though we do have a pretty routined day for the most part, there is never a dull moment when you have kids. Our life is full of beautiful moments and fabulous surprises because each day Phoenix comes up with something new to do or say and Lily laughs just a little longer or smiles just a little bigger :) This is what life is about. Beautiful moments that create memories that I will cherish forever. The most simple things often create the most happy and memorable experiences.

Being a mom is the best thing I have ever experienced and I truly love every second I get to spend with my angels :)

M.A.C Viva Glam Nicki & Nicki 2 Review & Swatches!

Hi My Loves!!!

I picked up the Viva Glam Nicki and Viva Glam Nicki 2 Lip gloss and Lipstick in my last MAC Haul and wanted to share my thoughts with you guys. 

These are available at your local MAC counter or online Link! 

They all retail for $15

First is the Viva Glam 2 Lipglass.

This is a soft lavender pink. It's a super beautiful color and it's perfect for spring. I feel like the lipglass is much easier to wear than the lipstick and would be beautiful alone or over another shade of lipstick. If you are wanting to try out a purple lip color, this would be the safest way to start :) I would repurchase this.

 

Here it is on my lips with nothing underneath.

Next is the Viva Glam Nicki 2 Lipstick. This I found much harder to pull off. This color definitely makes my teeth look more on the yellow side. It actually gave me a complex about them that day haha!! All day all I could think about was whitening my teeth!!! It's very opaque and stands out like crazy, so this isn't for the subtle makeup wearer.... I feel like if I had perfectly white, straight teeth and a tan, I could pull this off but I felt like it just didn't look right on me.

Here it is with nothing underneath.

Here is the lipstick and lipglass together.

MAC Viva Glam Nicki Lipglass. This color is so bright and fun for the Spring/Summer! It's a bright pink with a tad of coral in it. Again I feel like the lipglass would be much easier for most people to pull off as it's not as wild as the lipstick. I am definitely excited to wear this color more for the Spring season. I would repurchase this gloss.

Here is the lipglass with nothing on underneath.

MAC Viva Glam Nicki Lipstick. This is very pigmented and opaque as well. Super bright pink with a tad of coral in it. Great for those who like a statement lip. Super creamy and goes on very easily. It truly is a beautiful color. A little brighter pink than I would normally go for but very nice :) I probably wouldn't repurchase this again, just because it is so bright but it's nice to have for the odd occasion that I do what a bright pink lip :)

I must say I do love Nicki Minaj's makeup. She consistently looks flawless and I think if I would have to pick 2 celebs that I look to for makeup inspiration, Nicki and Kim Kardashian would be the winners! Now if Kim would just do a nude lipgloss/lipstick with MAC... that would be fab!!!
