Some days look like this.....

Hi My Loves!!!

Here was our day today. We didn't do much. We went to play group and had lots of fun playing with our friends. We had lunch. We took naps..... and then we played around on photo booth for a long time :) We sent video messages to Daddy so he could be in on the fun while he was at work. We took funny pictures together and some of Lil too. These are the days I love the most. Watching my little man giggle his little heart out because he thinks he looks funny. It's amazing that even at 2, he knows that that is a funny face.

Some might think my life is rather routine or dull. Though we do have a pretty routined day for the most part, there is never a dull moment when you have kids. Our life is full of beautiful moments and fabulous surprises because each day Phoenix comes up with something new to do or say and Lily laughs just a little longer or smiles just a little bigger :) This is what life is about. Beautiful moments that create memories that I will cherish forever. The most simple things often create the most happy and memorable experiences.

Being a mom is the best thing I have ever experienced and I truly love every second I get to spend with my angels :)

How was your day? How did you spend it?

Thanks for reading!

Our Christmas 2012 in Pictures!

Hi My Loves!!!

I hope you all had an amazing Christmas. Ours was perfect... spending the morning watching how excited Phoenix was for his pressies and then spending the afternoon with the rest of my family. I thought I would share some of the pictures with you that we snapped. Even though we did vlog it, sometimes it's fun to look at pictures too :)

WATCH OUR CHRISTMAS DAY VLOG HERE:

I hope I don't overwhelm you with pictures... it was so hard to choose, we took sooooooo many! Here are a few of my favorites :)

We picked up a Gingerbread house kit from Walfart and unfortunately it was all broken into bits. Luckily Jay is a creative little fellow and decided to make a chair, table and rug for Santa haha :)

Here is our masterpiece! He did the structure and we all helped decorate :)

We set out cookies and milk for Santa... and some carrots for the reindeer :)

Here's a little collage I made for my Christmas Eve blog post. They were all festive in their jammies.

Jay snapped this right as I was about to pick Lily up..... she was just gazing into my eyes.
So beautiful :)

We got them a new Christmas book to read before bed, so we snapped a few pictures of them before they opened it. What a good big brother Phoenix is.... he's so sweet to her!

I love their faces in this one! Haha... Lil looks nervous!

Superwoman!!!!!!

Now you'll have to excuse the fact that Jay looks drunk in this picture (he wasn't... he didn't have anything to drink but water haha)..... I just got him in the middle of a blink/talk but look how cute Lily is with her little tongue!!!! Haha, she cracks me up :)

I must say, trying to get a picture where everyone is looking at the camera is tough!

CHRISTMAS MORNING!!! Phoenix opening his play kitchen from Jay and I. His little girlfriend has one and every time we go to her house he runs over to it, so now he has his own :)

His beloved vacuum...
 "Waldo Jr"

Playing with his new blender with Daddy.

My beautiful little princes!

Lily playing on her new exercise mat from Santa.

Haha his little smurk!!

All set up and ready to cook!

BS opening her stocking and Moo waiting for a treat.....

Grandpa & Grandma got Phoenix an Innotab 2S :)

What's a Christmas without a good old game of blowing the maltesers up in the air and catching them in your mouth?

He LOVES his new car from Uncle Brad & Auntie Tamara!

And at the end of the night we got some shots of the babies in front of the tree in their festive little outfits :)

Lily's was from my Aunt who lives in England... isn't it cute?

Loving the new bean bags from Santa!!!

And another stop to play in the kitchen... toast anyone?

I was so busy all day I didn't get a chance to put makeup on or do my hair but I still wanted to get some pictures with my babies.

I'm sad we didn't get one of all four of us on Christmas but at least we have our family Christmas photo.

I live for my little family. As long as I have them, I have everything I could ever wish for :)
What a perfect Christmas it was!

And incase you missed what else the babies got, as far as clothes go.....

Breastfeeding and typing with the other hand....
