My Mom's Birthday Celebration

Happy Monday!

I hope you all had an amazing weekend. Today was my Mom's birthday, so in honor of her, we went to one of her favorite places to go when we were little, Apple Hill. We spent the day at a gorgeous winery and had a lovely lunch and I know my Mom would have loved it.

We all had such a great time. She loved lavender and the whole patio was surrounded by lavender and pretty flowers. We even saw a hummingbird right when we got there! It was the perfect way to spend the day.

Then we went over to one of the kids favorite apple orchards at Apple Hill and had apple donuts and apple cider, which was delicious. They have this amazing section for kids and it's like a whole mini village. It's so adorable and the kids love it!

We always like to end her birthday by sending off flowers into the lake for her. The kids love doing it and they actually remembered it from last year, which I thought was really sweet. So this year, they picked pink roses and we put them in the water for my Mom. I hope this will be a tradition that they will look back on with fond memories.

So that's how we spent my Mom's birthday. It was a really lovely day and I'm so very lucky to have spent it with my most favorite people. Hopefully your Monday was awesome too!

I also have a new video up on my channel, so be sure to head on over and see the super cute things I share in it!

#ToddlerTuesday: Walkin' In The Woods

Hi My Loves!!

So I've been trying to get out walking in the mornings every morning for about an hour. I just feel like I need to get some sort of exercise and I'm not the gym sort anymore and honestly walking in the very start of your day, when the air is fresh and we all go together really helps to start the day off right and clear my head. Tonight we decided to take an evening walk as well. The weather has been getting cooler and it's so nice to just let the kids run around and get their beans out before bed.

Here's some cute pictures Jay got of them while we were out there.

Sweatshirt: Old Navy

This was my bunny when I was a baby. I love passing my things down to Lily. It makes me so happy when she loves them as much as I did ;)

Coat: TJMaxx // Leggings: Target // Dress: FabKids // Shoes: Stride Rite

She loves this coat. It never matches anything but she says it's so soft haha!

Thanks for reading guys! Can you start to feel the beginning of Fall coming? This morning when I woke up it was pretty chilly outside. I am SO excited for Fall!! Chunky sweaters and boots.... YES PLEASE :)

Wagons & A Fairy Princess.

Hi My Loves!!

Hope you all had a lovely Easter weekend. We had a very nice one even though I was super sick and the kids were snuffly :( It's always the way. I swear every time there is a holiday or birthday, we end up getting sick. Horrid luck.

Anyway, we got a new wagon from Radio Flyer and so we wanted to try it out as the kids were super excited about it. They love being outside and going for walks. I'm so glad that there are so many beautiful places to walk in Tahoe. I just love it! Everyday I wake up with a smile on my face knowing that I can look out my window and see the beautiful forest ;)

Pants ~ Fabletics // Denim Jacket ~ TJ Maxx // Flats ~ Tieks

How cute are the kids sunglasses? I got them at Target.

Lily had so much fun walking Moo and Phoenix loved pulling the wagon. I love that the wagon has the canopy to protect them from the sun as well seat belts. The wheels are nice and big and rubber so they are not noisy, so that while you are pulling it you can actually carry on a conversation with your hubby or hear your kids haha! It also has good clearance. It's got two cup holders on the outside but they weren't quite big enough for our Google Water bottle. But they held our keys :) There are also cup holders on the inside of the wagon for your little ones drinks. The seats and bottom are plastic for easy clean up for dirt or spills. And it fold up like a stroller for convenience of storing it or if you want to travel with it and take it in your car. I do wish it had a little more storage though. There really isn't anywhere that you can keep any extras other than at the bottom where the kids feet go, which can be a little cramped. That's my only complaint though. Jay said it was easy to build too.

From March 9th through April 10th Radio Flyer will be conducting their Get Out And Play Daily Giveaway. Participants can sign up each day on RadioFlyer.com for a chance to win the Radio Flyer toy of the day. One winner will be selected each day.

In addition to the giveaway, Radio Flyer is also offering 10% off site-wide with the promo code SPRING15

These pictures of from Easter. We had just had an egg hunt and they were sitting down to see what was in the eggs ;) I think this is Lily's, "I'm trying to eat my chocolate Mom" face :)

They had so much fun yesterday. I was super sick and tried to make it as fun as possible for them and I'm pretty sure they had a very fun day, so that's good ;)

Thank you guys so much for reading ;)

Here's the vlogs of us trying the wagon out. Enjoy!

Don't forget to enter the giveaway above!!

Growing Up Quick!

Hi My Loves!!!

Last week we went to the park and while I was clearing out my computer this evening I came across a few pictures we took that day. I thought they were too cute of my little Lily Bug not to share :)

Is it weird that I was more scared to go down this slide than any of the kids there? Haha... it was steep!

Who else remembers skipping rocks as a child? I do. We used to skip rocks with my Dad and thought it was the coolest thing ever when we found that perfect shaped rock that would get 3 skips :) Phoenix had so much fun watching Daddy skip and throwing handfuls of pebbles into the water.

Lily and I watched the boys skip rocks. Isn't she such a little beauty? She looks especially nice in her lovely pink outfit ;)

I look at these pictures and can't believe how big she is already! It seems like just yesterday we were bringing her home and now she's almost 10 months old! Where does the time go?

Hope you are all having a lovely week so far. If you haven't checked out my latest makeup room tour then be sure to head on over and check it out :)

Wanna see Lily crawl for the first time???

My 2yr Old Photographer!

Hi My Loves!!!

Phoenix has been quite the photographer lately. He's been quite the vlogger as well. ANy chance that he has to snap some pictures or videos he takes haha! I thought I'd share a few of the ones that you could tell what they were that he took today :)

You'll notice Moo is usually the subject of his photos.... and Lil too, but mostly Moo!

Lily was rocking the mismatch pj's tonight. I have no idea where the matching pieces to those pj's went haha!

Another one of Moo sleeping in her favorite spot underneath the swing.

Here's one I snapped tonight. Phoenix was holding Lily's hand and it was so precious. Clean, fresh pj's and snuggling with each other! So cute! Look at their eyes... both the same color. They actually look so alike in this picture. It's so fun seeing Lily grow and start to look so much like Phoenix :)

Hope you all had an amazing day!

And just so you know I have a highly requested video going up tomorrow :) Go and check here to see if it's up!

Color Crazy!!!

Hi My Loves!!!

First of all..... HAPPY CHRISTMAS EVE!!! I hope you are all well :) My boys are feeling much better for those of you have been asking.... Thank you! I wanted to wish you all a very merry whatever you celebrate and we hope that the new year brings more than you could hope for ;)

Onto my post for the day.....

It had been years since I colored in a coloring book. As a little girl I used to color all the time. It was one of my favorite things to do. I had mounds of crayons, markers and colored pencils. Since my little man has started coloring in his very favorite Dora coloring books, I have been joining in on the fun and LOVING every second of it. I must say he takes after his Mama because out of all the toys and activities that he has.... coloring is by far his favorite.

I actually forgot how much I loved coloring and how relaxing it really is. For that specific moment of time that we're coloring..... I forget all the chores that need done or anything I'm thinking about at all really. It's just complete and total concentration of coloring and enjoying that special moment with my little angel :)

So if you are feeling stressed or just need to relax for a little bit..... grab some crayons and a snazzy coloring book and go to town on it. Whether you have kids or not, trust me..... I guarantee it will make you feel so peaceful and relaxed! Say hello to your inner child for me :)

WATCH HOW GREAT OF A COLORER (is that a word???) PHOENIX IS HERE:

And sometimes you get bored of coloring in books and decide it would be much funner to color on Mommy's face.... HOW DO I LOOK??? ;) (He's quite the artist)
