Keep On Dreaming......

Hi My Loves!

I got an email today from Sephora showcasing their latest and greatest indulgences for the holiday season. I figured I'd share them with you because..... well because I know you'll probably feel the same way I do about them :)

Here's the first item that caught my eye.

First thing I thought was YES!!! I want it.... you know I love Urban Decay shadows. They are actually my favorite eyeshadows out there, so I was really excited when I saw this. And then I saw the price.... WAH WAH WAH!!! Darn. $600 is a crazy amount to spend on an eyeshadow set and that is why I called this post keep on dreaming. As much as I would love to have all 68 of those delightful bad boys.... it's just way out of the question for me. But it does look rather fabulous and it would be pretty cool to have every shade they make! I'll keep dreaming on that one :)

Next thing that caught my attention was this little beauty.

I love Stila. They are pigmented and the quality is fab. Once again this set is definitely on the high side of the budget but not quite as ridiculous as the Urban Decay. This set contains 15 deluxe lip glazes, 8 smudge stick waterproof eye liners, 3 brushes, 3 smudge crayons 12 eyeshadows and 4  blushes. Looks pretty delightful and you get a lot of different makeup so that's nice. Still pretty pricey though.

Last thing that caught my eye was this.

The price is still pretty high but much easier to swallow than the former two I talked about. I think this is something that is a splurge but it's not going to make you puke thinking about as you walk out with the receipt in your hand or even worse.... your husband kill you when he finds out ;) (And no Jay has never wanted to kill me after I've bought makeup haha... had to throw that out there!)

As a child I loved advent calendars. We would get the Cadbury ones filled with yummy little santa and reindeer shaped chocolates. Every morning we would rush downstairs to open the day's little window to see what shape chocolate it was. There's just something so fun about an advent calendar, so I think it's really cool that they have made one for the adult beauty lover. A little small makeup or skin care treat for 24 days of December! What a way to make Mom smile eh?? It has blushes, mascara, skin care, lip gloss... all sorts of little goodies in it to make that girly girl excited to get up and open that little window for the day :) (Hey who knows, it might even make your teenage daughter get up for school early????)

Could you see yourself buying any of these for yourself or as a special gift?

Let me know your thoughts!!

Thanks so much for reading and Happy Almost Halloween! Where did this year go??

Best Perfume I've Ever Sniffed!!!

Hi My Loves!!!

I got my Ulta catalog for September in the mail today which is always an exciting moment for me because it includes samples of perfume and my $3.50 coupon haha! I knew as soon as I sniffed this sample of Marc Jacobs "Honey" ($92.50 for 3.4oz) that I had to tell you guys about it and it instantly went on my wish list.

Here's the sample I got in my Ulta catalog :) I must have sniffed it about 20 times and Phoenix sniffed it about 10, saying "Oh nice babe!"

Here's what it really looks like:

Here's what Sephora says about the perfume:

Honey by Marc Jacobs is a sunny, delicious floral—energetic and alluring, with a sparkling, golden touch. The perfect mix of brightness and warmth.

This buzzing fragrance energizes with the freshness of green pear and a bright splash of fruity punch and juicy mandarin. Orange blossom resides at the heart of the fragrance and mingles with the nectars of honeysuckle and peach for a note of sparkling femininity. Honey, vanilla, and smooth woods dry down to a warm, golden base.

Notes:
Pear, Juicy Mandarin, Orange Blossom, Peach Nectar, Apricot, Honeysuckle, Honey, Golden Vanilla, Smooth Woods.
Style:
Sweet. Sassy. Energized.

Here's what I say about the perfume:
The scent of this is like heaven. It's feminine, subtle, sweet and floral at the same time. This is one of those scents you just can't stop sniffing and I MUST HAVE IT!! It's literally the best perfume I may have ever sniffed in my life and I've sniffed a lot! This is definitely on my MUST PURCHASE SOON list. I highly recommend the next time you are at Ulta or Sephora, get a sample or just go and have a sniffy wiffy :) Let me know how you like it. If you do have it, how does it wear? Is it one of the delightful ones that stay smelling amazing all day long?

I just had to share this with you because it is the best scent ever!

And here's a recap of my last few videos this week:

Yesterday Lily tried to beat me up...

Wanna make your teeth look pearly white without having to use whitening products???

Last but not least my favorite video of this week so far:

What I'm Lusting Over: Sephora Edition :)

Hi My Loves!!!

So if you watch our daily vlogs on The Schuerman Show then you will know that we went to Sephora the other day and I got to have a little shopping spree. It has been months since I went and had a shopping spree for myself, so it was rather exciting and I had a super good time.

WATCH MY SEPHORA HAUL HERE:

I got some amazing things, that I totally am so excited for but since it had been so long since I was able to browse around in there, I was totally out of the loop with all the new products! HOLY CRUDMOLI is there a lot of great stuff out right now. I couldn't buy everything I wanted so here are the things I didn't get but am still lusting over. If you have any of these items, let me know how you like them :)

These lipglosses looked super luscious. I love that they have the brush applicator and they remond me very much of Mac Dazzleglass. I'm just a lipgloss lover and these look fab!!!

I've heard great things about this palette. I checked it out while I was there and it seems to be really nice. I'd love to get my hands on one eventually :) The garnet color looks right up my alley!

I had this in my little basket before I ended up getting another palette. I was so torn but this looks really pretty. The blush was super pretty and it had some nice shades for the shadows too. I tried on the highlight and it seemed to be really pretty. Cute packaging too :)

So those are the main ones that I was eyeing while I was there.

Let me know what you are lusting over!!!

HERE'S WHAT WE DID YESTERDAY:

Thanks for reading :)
