Mommy Makeup...... & A Few Einsteins :)

Hi My Loves!!!

In my latest Friday Favorites video this is the makeup that I'm wearing. It's technically not a makeup look but I wanted to make this post for the other Mommy's out there that might be wondering what I wear as far as makeup goes, on the days that I'm in a rush to get ready but don't want to wear nothing at all.

I had a doctor's appointment to go to super early in the morning, so I had very little time to get us all sorted out to go, as well as looking half way alive :) I'm still sleeping horribly so if you think I look a little tired... you are right!! Haha...

So here is my typical Mommy makeup for the days that I have enough time to put something on but not enough time to go all out.....

FOTD & OOTD: Mellow Yellow! 1/27/12

Hi My Loves!!!

It's rather cold today, so I thought I would wear my nice chunky sweater. It's got a very unique shape (I think it looks like a pumpkin with arms) but it's so warm and cozy!

My hair looks total poo in these pictures because I haven't had a chance to style it yet.... sometimes the hair gets a little abandoned with all the other things going on in my day :) As long as I can put my makeup on, get dressed and make these videos for you guys.. then thats ok if I have a bit of a poo hair day!

I always pick doing my makeup over my hair.... 

Plus.... I'm totally hating my hair color right now. I can't decide what to do with it but I just hate how gold it's getting, now that the lowlight and highlights are blending into one :( Any ideas???

I wanted to match the yellow in my shirt, so I decided to do some nice bright yellow on my lids. I actually dont wear yellow on my eyes very often but it does compliment blue eyes quite well :) And it makes me feel sunny, even though its cold out.

I HATE FOREHEAD WRINKLES!!!! This is not acceptable, I'm only 26! GOSH DARN IT!

You can see that the Laura Mercier Silk Creme does settle into the lines & wrinkly winkly's quite bad.... thats really my only complaint about this foundation. If I only had baby skin like Mr. Phoenix. DARN WRINKLES! It does photograph nicely and covers great, its just that darn settling. POO on a Shoe!!!!

Nice wonky eyelash, it's stabbing me in my eye all day! LOL

Friday Favorites & Fudgeroos & OOTD 12/16/11

Hi my loves!!

So towards the end of this week I've been trying to do a no make up challenge.... basically not wearing ANY make up just to see how it helps my skin or if it even makes a difference.... I didn't wear any on Tuesday, I did wear some on Wednesday but none yesterday and hoping to not wear any all weekend too. I usually wear make up (including full foundation etc) everyday of my life, so I really wanted to just see what happens when I let my skin breathe. So we will see :) SO far I have noticed a difference, no new zits and it seems a lot clearer ;)

Jay my hubby is helping me out with todays favorites & fudgeroos :) We thought it would be fun to have him show the products and me be his voice, seeing as I'm not wearing make up :) What a sport he is ;) It was actually his idea! I think secretly he wants his own beauty channel too :) HAHA!!!

Sometimes it's just fun to do silly things that are different. 

So if you can and are up for it, do the no make up challenge with me!! Whether it's a full week or just a few days, it's kinda nice to let your skin breathe for a few days and it sure does give you more time for other things around the house :) I've gotten so much laundry done!!
