H&M GIRLS SPRING EDIT | Fashion for the Little Fashionista

I've been doing some online window shopping to see what's new for Spring and I came across the cutest pieces for girls from H&M. I was really impressed with the prices of their swimwear because as you probably know, swimsuits can get a little pricey even though it's a tiny amount of fabric. It always blows my mind! I feel like a lot of the time I end up spending more money on the kids clothes per item than I do on my own! 

The weather here in North Carolina has been so much nicer than what we were used to in Tahoe. I mean snow is beautiful and all, but man was it cold. I'll take some rain over snow any day. Now if the sun could just come out, I'd be a happy camper. Either way, the temps have been very pleasant and I can feel Spring weather right around the corner. So of course I'm already shopping for dresses, swimwear... all the summer pieces. 

I did a huge clear out of the kids closets yesterday. It was a rainy day and I had so much laundry to catch up on. So while I was waiting for my loads to wash, I went through everything they own. I had them try on a ton of stuff and put the items that didn't fit or they didn't like into piles for donation and then piles that I can sell on my Poshmark. I need to order some ink for our printer and then I'll start getting those items listed. Lily is quite possibly the pickiest person I've ever met when it comes to clothes, so usually what happens is that I pick out super adorable outfits, she hates them and then I have clothes that she's never worn and never will wear sitting in her closet taking up precious space. So I figured the pieces that are still in really good/new condition I will just sell and hopefully get back a little bit of money back to put towards her Spring/Summer closet. Ok there's my list of items from H&M. I hope you like my choices. Half of these Lily would never actually wear which is a total bummer for me but maybe if your little girls aren't picky, you can pick them up. If only I could put her in whatever I wanted! That would be the life. I don't know how these IG accounts with their kids all matchy and perfect outfits do it. Bribery? Or maybe the kids just don't mind about seams, material, itchy things, straps and ruffles. I can put Phoenix in most things. He fights me on the jeans but other than that I can pick what I want. Lily on the other hand.. most mornings are a battle. I have to work myself up in the mornings to get her ready. I pick out her outfit in the evening and hang it on her door only to see that she has not put that on and she's ripped down 4 or 5 different things from the closet and they're all over the floor and her outfit is very bright and usually mismatched. You gotta love her for having her own opinion and style though right?? Maybe she will grow up to be a fashion designer.

GET UNREADY WITH ME TRYING NEW SKINCARE

Happy Saturday! I hope you are all having a nice day. 

We got so much snow over the past few days! The kids got a snow day on Friday, Lily had a friend over for a sleepover last night and so it's been quite busy over the last couple of days for me haha! We all got geared up to go outside this morning to play in the snow and can I just take a minute to give a shout out to the Mom's out there who have 3 kids!! Holy moly. Putting on three sets of snow pants, gloves, hats, boots and coats compared to two sets, really was quite the task this morning. It took me forever and then we braved the wind and snow for about 10 minutes before the girls got cold and decided it would be better to go inside and eat a snack. LOL. So I got them inside, out of all their snow gear, made them a snack and watched them to some kids yoga instead, while the boys shoveled out our back patio and driveway. 

I've had a splitting headache since about 2am this morning and I just told Jay that I would really like to go and relax and do some work. And he laughed, because for me... work is relaxing. So here I am, writing this blog post, getting my newest video shared and getting some other work done while he plays with the kids. I'm hoping that my headache will go away and all will be better once I'm finished here.

But enough about my morning.... and on to why I'm writing this blog! I just uploaded a new video trying out new skincare from L'Occitane for you guys. It's a Get Unready With Me style video but it's different than my usual because it's trying out new products, instead of my regular routine. It's a nice way to try out the new skincare I got, on camera, so that you guys can see exactly what it does. I hope you like this style of video.

My Outdoor Adventures Must-Haves

I love Summer. My favorite part about it is being able to enjoy the outdoors, especially the beauty of Tahoe. Whether it's relaxing at the beach, going for a hike, enjoying the sunrise or sunset, or just being able to be outside and smell the fresh, clean air here, it's just nice to be outside. I really love getting the kids outside being active too and they love going for walks and hikes.

 I love yoga pants, because they really help to tighten up your body and make you look nice and fit! Ha ha! The tummy band sucks your tummy in really nicely, and they are so comfortable to wear! Jay picked me out this really cute matching set for my birthday, and I love it! It's really cute for summer, for those chilly mornings or evenings. But I can also wear it into Fall. 

Next is a comfy pair of sneakers. Let's be honest: Mine have seen better days but they are so comfortable and they've molded to my feet, so even though the shoelaces are shredded and they really aren't looking that fresh, I love them.

I also always bring my phone with me so I can capture the beauty of Tahoe or my kids, or to snapchat. It's always with me when I'm outside. My brother got me the unicorn case for my birthday, and I love it! I also always have my camera to vlog our adventures with. I love that camera. It's just amazing.

  

But let's be real here: The most important thing while being active outside is a good snack! You can't go out enjoying the great outdoors, without bringing something yummy to snack on. Especially when you have kids.

I mean, can you get a better background for a picture? It was so beautiful up there!! Waking up at 4:15am was so worth it, to be able to go and watch the sunrise with my brother and Moo. I should get up that early and see it more often.
