Chocolate Brown..... Yay or Nay?

Hi My Loves!!!

First I want to say a big Thank You to everyone who got something from my blog sale! (It's down now as there wasn't much left)... I will be packaging everything up today and sending them out on Monday! Hope you enjoy your goodies and get some good use out of them :)

Onto today's post.....

I was browsing through Pinterest the other day and came across this bedroom below. I've never actually been one for the color brown as far as home decor goes, but I thought that this one was just so rich and elegant. Rather sophisticated...... It really stuck out and I found myself really liking it.

I love the crisp white against the chocolate brown. I think with some all white lamps (maybe some crystal bases) and white night stands, this would be soooooo fabulous. I do think that this would be a great balance between masculine and feminine....

The night stands here is what I'm talking about and I also love the little touch of pink with the flowers..... very me :)

I have actually posted this picture before because I loved the bed and furniture. I think I even said I didn't care for the color of the walls.... lol. MAKE UP YOUR MIND LADY!!! Isn't it funny how our tastes change so much? Or maybe it's just me?

This bed is AMAZING!! I love this headboard!!!!! I must have it! I'm sure this is absolutely ridiculously expensive but I wonder how much and how hard it would be to make yourself?? If anyone has any tutorials they know of or suggestions, let me know because this is fab!

So my question to you is...... are you on the chocolate brown and white bandwagon??? Or is it just too dark for you? I can't quite decide......

Thanks for reading!

My Dream Furniture!

Hi My Loves!

Thanks to Kandee Johnson's new home decor post on her blog, that one of my lovely facebook friends posted on my wall, I have been "online window shopping"......

So I thought I would share my DREAM furniture finds with you! We can all dream together :) Haha

But on a serious note, HOLY CRUDMOLI does this place have some AMAZING furniture!!! Thank you Kandee for always finding the most fun, girly, fabulous things that I am obsessed with!

Here is my dreamland furniture :)
I also showed them all to Jay and he was like, "yah, I could handle that, it looks awesome!" COOL BEANS!!

Maybe one day!

Let's start with the bedroom :)

 DREAM BED:

Omg... is this not the most fabulous bed of life??? AHHHH..... I love it! You can customize them to a bunch of colors but I think I would have to go with the one pictured. I love the white. It just looks so beautiful.

 DREAM OTTOMAN:

How beautiful would this be at the end of the bed?? OMG yes!!! Plus it's perfect for baby spills with the leatherish material :) If it had storage in it too, that would be PERFECT! I could put our pj's on it and a luscious blanket.... oh baby! Or it would be super cute in a little bay window as a cozy little window seat with some fabulous pillows.....

 DREAM DRESSER:

I have no idea where this is from, I saw it on Pinterest but I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it! It's so whimsical and girly!

DREAM CHAIR:

I would make this the same baby pink as the ottoman and have these in the bedroom as a delightful little sitting area. Then I'd probably have one just like this one pictured in my makeup room too! Again this was on pinterest, so I have no idea where it's from.

I would take this pillow and put it as a snazzy little touch :) I saw this on pinterest too but it's from Evelyn & Rose on Etsy

I also think this one is super cute with the flowers and touches of light blue. Same seller as the one before ;) I'd probably take a few of these and put these on the couches too.

Onto the living room!

 DREAM COUCH:

This is fabulous! Instead of the purple I would take the pink from the couch below and then keep the white like in the picture. The chaise part is super wide and the depth of the cushions are nice and deep too. That's always Jay's biggest complaint for couches. It's too narrow and not deep enough. Plus this looks super comfy! Plenty of seating for a family and if you have company over. Add the floral pillows from the picture above and DING!!! LUSCIOUS!!!

This is the pink I would have on the sectional above.

That's all I have found so far ;)

Hope you like my dream furniture finds....

Happy Dream Shopping!

Hope you are all having an amazing weekend!
