#FashionFriday: Chevron & Sparkles

 Hi My Loves!!!

First off sorry about the lack of blog posts this week. My sister moved in with us and so I've been a bit of a blog slacker :) It's been so nice helping her organize her stuff and spend time with her. I couldn't go too long though without posting something for you though, so today I'm doing a #FashionFriday.

For this weeks #FashionFriday I'm featuring a little bit of Chevron. You all know I have my fair share of Chevron, from clothes to home decor. Now I can add shoes to my list :) I just recently ordered these Zia Chevron Flats from JustFab and thought they would be a perfect bit of pizazz to any Spring outfit.

I love black and white. It's so versatile. It can be worn casual or you can dress it up and I love that these add just a little something extra. I'm all about flats too. I find heels so difficult to wear when I'm carrying Lily or chasing after Phoenix. So these are perfect, dressy but still practical.

I also went to the nail salon with my sister yesterday. She needed a fill so we decided to go and have a little girly salon time, which was so nice. We hardly ever get to do that kind of thing so I took full advantage of the kids nap time. Daddy caught up on some Dexter (his new obsession) while they snoozed and we got our nails all pretty and Springy.

I chose a nice pale pink with chunky pink sparkles over the top. Gel nail polish has become my new obsession. It lasts so long, stays shiny and just looks so nice. I like acrylics but they end up driving me crazy after they grow out after a week, so this is the perfect option for me :) I'm just a short nail kind of girl.

Family OOTN: Grandma's Birthday Dinner!

Here's a little family outfit of the night :) Yesterday we went out for Grandma's birthday. We went to Sushi and has lots of fun.

I just love the sleeves of this top. It's actually a workout top but because the sleeves have that quilted effect, I feel like you can dress it up a little with the right pieces :)

Jay got some new clothes this week when we to Old Navy and oh baby does he look good in his new sweater ;)

Lily got some new red shoes from Old Navy too and she was pretty impressed with herself once she put them on :) She kept looking in the mirror haha!

Phoenix picked out his own outfit last night. He loves this shirt. He also loves his grey sweats haha! I asked him if he wanted to wear some nice snazzy jeans and he said he wanted his sweats lol. Kids no comfort ;)

OOTD: Cozy Grey Cardigan!

Hi My Loves!!!

Today we had a few errands to run and we were running a little late so I didn't get a chance to put my makeup on but I thought I would do an OOTD post :) This is one of my most favorite outfits because it's so comfy and I love these boots. They have to be my all time favorite. They are incredibly slippery and I did actually slip on the ice today (too bad I didn't get that on camera haha) but they are just so comfortable and cute.

If you have never tried the Old Navy Rockstar skinny jeans.... you are missing out and you should! They are seriously like wearing leggings or yoga pants. They are so comfortable. I did actually get a couple new pairs and they are a tad stiffer, so I think it depends on the wash of the jean but the light ones that I'm wearing today are the best! I am OBSESSED!

OOTD & FOTD: Red Flannel!

Hi My Loves!!

You guys seem to have been liking my OOTD posts so here's another one for you :) Yesterday we were going to go to a holiday show (unfortunately the parking lots was completely full) so we will hopefully go today :) Anyway, Lily, Phoenix and I decided to get festive in red :) 

I'm just loving flannel. The beauty of this shirt is that it's actually a sheer material so if you live in a place that's not colod like it is where we are, you can still rock the flannel for Fall/Winter and not be sweating your booty off in a traditional flannel material.

OOTD: Navy & Grey

Hi My Loves!!

I posted a picture of my outfit today on Instagram and a few of you asked where specific things were from so I thought I would just plonk it all down on a blog post :) We had people working on our roof today, so we figured since it would be a whole lot of banging and loud noise, we would run errands. Here's what I wore.

Jacket: American Eagle Outfitters similar one here

White Top: Old Navy

Scarf: Kitsy Lane (I'm pretty sure) similar color here

Leggings: The label has worn off and I'm not sure what it says but it starts with a big X

Romesha Boots: Just Fab

I curled my hair with a 1 inch regular curling iron by Conair.
