Today I have my Christmas tree tour up on my channel. I've been working on my ornament collection for years now, so it was quite difficult to link the exact ornaments that I have. I figured it would be helpful to make a lookbook that is shoppable for ornaments similar to mine. I hope you like the ones I picked out. I also made one for stockings and general holiday decor.
Seeing as it's almost Christmas I thought it would be a perfect time to do a little tree/ornament breakdown :) Basically just a post all about our tree and where we got everything....
So here you go. Thanks to my favorite picture editing program PicMonkey I added the stores names right onto the specific ornament.... oh technology eh???
These were all on Clearance last year at Michael's after Valentine's Day. I think I got them for $1 each or something close to that. I really lucked out because I had found out I was pregnant and knew that if it was a girl we would name her Lily.... luckily they had one L left so I got it just incase.... it worked out perfectly :)
Each year we are going to pick out one special ornament for the babies, so that by the time they leave the house and have their own tree... they will have a nice little collection.
This was Phoenix's first ornament from last year. It's a glass cow jumping over the moon, like the nursery rhyme :)
This is the one we picked for Phoenix this year. It's so sparkly and pretty and rather suiting for where we live :)
Here's Lily's first ornament :) A cupcake that's pink and sparkly..... so cute, just like her!
This year we really lucked out on finding the perfect ornaments at Sam's Club. We got a big massive tub of sparkly blue, pink and other colors for $29!! I think it had 100 ornaments in it. We just used the pink and blue ones.... pink for Lily and blue for Phoenix :)
So there is our little tree. It's just how I've always wanted my tree to be and I love it so much.
If you watch our daily vlogs, then you will know that yesterday we went over to my friends house to have a playdate with her 2 kids (Phoenix's girly friend haha).....
WATCH IT HERE:
We had so much fun and I ended up staying there for the entire day! I didn't vlog while I was there but I did snap a few pictures of Phoenix, as well as some of my friends amazing crafts that she has done. She is super crafty and creative and every time we go over, there's a new project up that I love.
Here's Phoenix on one of his favorite toys over there... he just scoots himself around the whole house haha :) Isn't her tree cute?
She made this little Christmas decoration with letters from Hobby Lobby, with scrapbook paper cut to the shape of the letter and then she just used spray adhesive to stick it on. She used a distresser (I think that's what it's called) around the edges to give it that vintage look. I love it!!! So cute!
Here's another super cute idea that she just put up in her office to remind her of birthdays. The ribbons are just stuck on with hot glue and buttons..... so cute!
This is in her daughters bedroom, she just used the buttons for her initial and then put her handprints on to customize it a little more.... so creative!
In her closet she has these cute little boards holding all of her jewelry....
These little fabric Christmas trees are on all of the doors. Each door is a different fabric :)
And here's Phoenix doing what he does best..... Coloring away with his best good friend :)
Hope you got some ideas for crafts to do... every time I go over I'm inspired. Now if I could just stay up late enough to do them haha!!
