"Me Time"
This post is sponsored by Target.
Today, I'm going to give you a little peek into how I have "me time." As a mom who works from home, things can get hectic sometimes. I get caught up cleaning, taking care of the kids, editing and emails, and sometimes I forget about me. It can be really easy to do. When I was younger, before I had children, I had all the time in the world to pamper myself, take long baths, get massages, go to the salon and just spend hours doing my hair and makeup. I don't have that kind of time now. So when I want a little "me time," it's much less involved than it used to be, but it's still just as amazing.
It's funny how life changes!
Nowadays, my "me time" is taking a long, hot shower by myself once the kids go to bed. Simple right? But it's so nice. No interruptions. Just me and the hot water and some lovely products to help pamper my skin and hair. I can take as much time as I want in there. Shave my legs, wash my hair, exfoliate my body and step out feeling like a human being again! Haha!
Here are the items I used last night to make me feel pampered in my very own home. All of these items can be found at your local Target. Plus, they all smell AMAZING!
The first thing I do is wash my hair with the Proganix Anti Fade Cheery Blossom Shampoo & Conditioner. I have to be honest: I kind of picked this up because the packaging is gorgeous! Haha! I'm a sucker for pink and gold. This smells so gorgeous too. But it's actually a really nice shampoo and conditioner. It's sulfate-free, so it doesn't lather a huge amount, but it leaves your hair feeling clean and very soft. The conditioner does a really great job at detangling and leaving hair silky smooth. I always make sure to leave my conditioner on while I exfoliate, shave, wash, etc. So be sure to do this first so your hair is really getting a good conditioning treatment.
Next, I use Boots Extracts Mango Sugar Scrub. You all know I grew up in England and absolutely love Boots. So it makes me so happy that Target carries this brand. Their products smell amazing and feel really moisturizing on the skin. The mango is heavenly! I like to exfoliate my skin once a week before I self-tan to ensure that I will get the most even, glowy self-tan possible. It also helps to get rid of all of the dead skin cells and old self-tan that is still on your skin. I use mine with an exfoliating glove.
Once I've exfoliated and shaved, I use the Boots Extracts Mango Body Wash. Again, this smells so delicious. I just want to eat it! Haha! It's a very moisturizing formula that leaves your skin feeling super hydrated. I also wash my face in the shower with the Acure Facial Cleansing Gel. This smells like citrus and lathers really well. It's a gel formula that leaves your skin feeling squeaky clean, but not tight or dry.
It's a super simple routine, but it just feels so nice at the end of a long day to have taken a little quiet time to yourself. After that, I apply my self-tanner, let my hair air dry and go and edit the vlog. It's my little half-hour of me time, and it always makes me feel so much better.
How cute is this dish? I found it at Target in the dollar section. It's actually a candle holder, but you could use it to store your favorite skin-care products, Q-tips or lip gloss, or use it for its purpose and light a nice candle and take a hot bath and relax.
Don't forget to check out your local Target to find all the items I showed in this post, as well as many more amazing products to help you feel relaxed and fabulous!

Back To School "No Makeup" to "Fall Sophisticated" Makeup Look
This post is sponsored by Target.
Hi My Loves!!
Today I'm going to show you how to get the perfect Back-to-School "no makeup look" that you can wear in these last days of summer, as well as those first days of school. I'm also going to show you how you can take a few products and add them to the look to make it a little more fall appropriate or if you like something that's not so natural looking. All items shown can be found at Target or at Target.com.
Here's what I used for this look. Take your favorite foundation and powder first. Then you can add these items.
Maybelline SuperStay Better Skin Concealer ~ Light
Elf Eyelid Primer
NYX Micro Brow Pencil ~ Taupe
W3ll People Elitist 814 Mineral Eyeshadow ~ Petal, Sparkling Salmon (I used the lightest shade on my brow bone and inner corner and then peachy shade on my lid and as my highlight for my cheeks, nose and upper lip)
No7 Stay Perfect Shade & Define ~ Pink Pearl (browbone & inner corner)
No7 High Shine Lip Crayon ~ Daydreamer
Now, if you do want to add a bit more color or make it more fall appropriate there are 3 items that I added to this look to take it from "no makeup" to "fall makeup" and it takes a couple of minutes.
By adding a deeper nude lip and a cranberry and golden shade to the lid and crease, it just takes it to a more nighttime look or very fall appropriate makeup look. You can add it right on top of the previous look.
No7 Moisture Drench Lipstick ~ Romantic
W3ll People Elitist Mineral Eye Shadow ~ Golden Mocha & Luminous Copper
I hope you found this helpful. Don't forget to tag me on Instagram or Twitter using my handle @samschuerman and #TargetStyle if you recreate this look. Thanks so much for reading!

How to Wear Blue & Coral the Natural Way
This post is sponsored by Target.
Hi My Loves!!
Today I'm going to show you how to incorporate the ever so fabulous colors of spring and summer into your everyday makeup routine. Sometimes blues and corals can be a little intimidating for the neutral makeup ladies, so this is the perfect way to add a pop of color for the season while still keeping natural and appropriate for everyday wear.
All of the items I used can be found at your local Target. Here's the look I came up with.
By using the Pacifica palette, even though I used blues, they are a very soft and subtle blue so they still look very soft on the eyes. By adding the grayish taupe and navy, it calms down the teal blue and makes it much more wearable. If you don't want to wear bright coral on the lips, you can always go with a more peachy nude toned coral on the lips and then a nice pop of coral on the cheek. Coral is the perfect blush color in the spring and summer for warming up the face.
Here's everything I used to create this look:
NYX lipliner ~ Peekaboo Neutral
For the eyes I used the grey taupe color in the crease with a fluffy brush. With a flat brush I took the teal blue all over the lid. Then I put the champagne color on my brow bone and tear duct. The golden creamy color was applied to my inner third of my lid and then I took the navy in my outer crease and on my lash line. I also took the teal blue on my lower lash line.
These lip colors are a perfect peachy nude coral combination if you aren't fond of bright corals.
If you do love a strong coral lip then here are a few brighter options for you. These would be perfect for turning your day look into a perfect nighttime makeup as well.
Now if makeup isn't your thing you can still rock those blues and corals by wearing them on your nails. Here are some gorgeous options for you to try.
I hope you guys enjoyed this post and found it helpful. Be sure to check out your local Target or Target.com for all your beauty needs for spring and summer. Don't forget to sign up for your Target red card to save yourself 5% off everything you buy and free shipping online.

Ready for Spring Nail Tutorial!
This post is sponsored by Target.
Hi My Loves!!
Hi My Loves!!
Today I'm going to show you how to bring your nails into spring. I love spring and I especially love when I can start transitioning my makeup, wardrobe & nails into the season because it's full of color. By the time March comes around, I'm ready for pops of bright coral, aqua blues and vibrant pinks. They just make me happy. I've teamed up with Target to show you how to get these fun, vibrant nails with polishes you can find at your local Target. Plus, by using your Target Red Card, you can save 5% on all of these items as well. (You know me and my Red Card haha!)
Don't mind the big blob of polish on my hand… I spilled lol.
Ok let's get started. Now I have acrylics, so the first thing I did was re file the shape of them into a nice short point and then I buffed the tops of the nails to just freshen them up. But obviously if you have natural nails just file them to the shape you like and then just go over them with alcohol or nail polish remover to remove any oily residue. Then I always like to wash them with soap and dry very well.
Here are the polishes that I purchased at Target.
1.) Apply one coat of the Orly Color Amp'd Flexible Color in LA Selfie to every other nail starting with the pinky.
4.) On the pointer finger, apply polka dots with any white polish you have by taking a toothpick, bobby pin or nail tool and dipping the tip into the white polish (place a little on some cardboard or paper plate) and dotting on the nails in the pattern you like.
6.) Wait a little longer for those to dry as they aren't quite as quick drying and then apply the Orly Color Amp'd Flexible Seal Coat to each nail.
7.) Wait about a minute or two to dry and you are finished. I like to rub any cooking spray or olive oil on my nails after that and rinse in cold water for about 30 seconds.
