How To Stay Fabulous For The Holidays!

This post is sponsored by Target.

Hi, my loves!

Winter weather can be tough on your skin and hair. The cold, dry weather can leave you feeling far from glamorous. Today, I'm going to show you some awesome ways to stay looking and feeling fabulous this holiday season. Target has some awesome holiday sets that are perfect to keep your hair and skin looking gorgeous, as well as amazing gifts for friends and family. You could also break these sets apart and use them as stocking stuffers!

Let's talk about hair first. My hair is the first thing to go wrong in the winter. My natural hair color is very mousy, so it always looks greasy when I start getting roots, no matter how often I wash it. It's just that dirty-dishwater blonde.

This Dessange Paris Purifying Clay Balancing Shampoo is designed specifically for oily roots and dry ends, which is exactly what I have. Hair always gets dry in the winter. The cold, dry air and harsh winds are not your hair's friend. This has purifying clay to help purify at the root and nourish ends for smooth, balanced hair. It's perfect for us natural blondes who highlight and have damaged ends and delightful, healthy (but greasy-looking) roots. The Dessange California Blonde Illuminating Conditioner is specifically designed for blonde hair. It gives your hair moisture with passion flower extract, while bringing radiance to color-treated hair.
Who doesn't want radiant, silky hair? Nobody.

Next, we have dry shampoo. Now, I only got on the dry-shampoo bandwagon this year. Up until now, I just washed my hair when it looked dirty. Then my friend Summer told me I needed to try it. I was instantly hooked. I just ran out of my favorite dry shampoo and haven't ordered a new one yet, so I thought I would pick up this one from Not Your Mother's. This is the Clean Freak Refreshing Dry Shampoo, and it's really nice. It doesn't leave a yucky residue in your hair. The scent is pretty good, and it does a good job of getting rid of the oiliness without dulling your hair or making it look like there's a ton of product in it. Plus, you can't feel it in your hair when you run your fingers through. This set also comes with a travel size of the shampoo and conditioner as well, so if you are traveling for the holidays, you are set. Only $6.99 too!

Another really cool option is getting a hair and body mist that also moisturizes, while leaving you smelling like a delicious fruit. This Ahava Dead Sea Essentials Hydrating Hibiscus Mineral Body and Hair Mist smells like a freshly peeled lychee fruit, and it has a dual-phase oil that moisturizes and soothes skin and hair. It smells so good!

Then there is the styling. We all want to look our best during the holidays—whether it's for Christmas pictures for cards or holiday parties at work, we all want to look polished. My hair is naturally wavy and fluffy. In the winter, it tends to get a little dry and witchy-looking. As much as I like to let it dry naturally, sometimes you want to look a little more put together. Haha.

This Chi Air Classic Tourmaline Ceramic Hairstyling Iron is not only perfect for making your hair straight, smooth, and silky, but it's also PINK ROSE GOLD! So while you are making yourself look fabulous, you can look at a fabulously gorgeous flatiron. I am in love with this. It's so pretty. Such a perfect gift for Christmas as well. It's awesome and pretty all in one. YAY! It's under $100 as well! It also comes with a mini brush and blow dryer.

Now, we all know that sometimes we just have a bad hair day. Maybe you are running late, your hair is looking crazy, and you don't have to time to curl or flat iron. Or maybe you did style it, and then the harsh winter weather ruined it. Rain, wind, and snow can do that to you.

That's where the Mane Tame Hairmergency Kit comes to save the day. It's a cute little black-and-gold bag with bobby pins, two mini hair claws, hair ties, ponios, and a head wrap for those absolutely useless hair days. You can keep this in your bag and whip up your hair into a cute top bun before anyone knows your hair was looking cray five minutes ago, when you were rained on and blown by a gust of wind. When I had bangs, they were the first to get messed up in the winter. I always kept a bobby pin in my purse, just in case it had gone too far and they had to be pinned up.

Now I'm moving onto skin. Skin also gets wrecked in the winter. It gets dry and dull-looking, and that is never fun. The skin on my body is super dry all the time, but especially in the winter. My lips also get terribly chapped.

This Savannah Bee Majesty Blackberry Rose Travel Gift Set is perfect for your dry skin and lips. The lotion and body wash smell amazing, and they come in a cute little bee bag. I was worried it would smell like rose, but the blackberry definitely overpowers and leaves you smelling fruity. It also comes with a clear lip balm to help those dry, chapped lips. It's a really nice scent for the colder months. It's fruity, but a winter fruity, if that makes sense. They also have Honey and Lemongrass Spearmint. It's under $15!

This next product is one of my Holy Grails. It's my tried-and-true favorite body product, and I've bought so many of these over the years. I originally purchased it for my tummy when I was pregnant with Phoenix. I rubbed it all over my stomach, thighs, hips, booty, and boobs to help prevent stretch marks. Then I stared applying it all over my body because it smells like lemon cake and it's so moisturizing. It continues to moisturize all day, and leaves your skin silky, soft, glowing, and healthy-looking. If you are more of an oil-over-lotion girl, you need this in your life. It's the best. Burt's Bees Mama Bee Nourishing Body Oil will always bring back great memories of pregnancy, as well as giving me gorgeous, glowing skin.

Last but not least, we have the hands. My poor hands get so dry in the winter months that they sometimes even crack. I have very dry hands anyway. I'm constantly washing them because of kids, pets, and household chores, so it takes a toll on them when you had cold weather to the mix.

This Bubble & Charm Mini Hand Creme Collection instantly pulled me in with its gorgeous packaging. It's so pretty and feminine. Then I saw the scents, and I couldn't resist buying it. Mandarin Tang is my favorite. It smells like oranges and it's amazing. The one that really caught my attention was the Cups of Tea scent. I've never seen a lotion with that scent before, and it smells so good. I can't describe it, but it's worth giving a sniff. This set was under $15, and it's not only gorgeous but it also feels so nice on the hands. It's moisturizing, but not too thick or greasy. It absorbs into the skin really quickly and leaves your hands so silky. I love this stuff! It's perfect to give as a gift or take apart for stocking stuffers as well. I feel like everyone needs hand cream in their purse or by their sink.

Those are some of the problems that I have with my skin and hair in these colder months. The skin on my face stays the same all year round—oily. LOL. So I just keep my routine the same. But I do love to try out new products on my body and hair. Let me know if you have tried any of these products before, and leave a comment telling me what your winter beauty dilemma is.
