Makeup Geek Blush First Impressions & Swatches!
Hi My Loves!!
I have a review for you today on the Makeup Geek blushes. I have heard so many amazing things about these. They have a nice range of colors, however the unfortunate part is that most of the colors are out of stock. I'm hoping they will be in stock soon because there are some gorgeous colors! These are very affordable at $12.99 for the compacts and $9.99 for the pans. You can purchase the palette to hold the pans separately for $20.00.

These blushes are cruelty, paraben and talc free as well.

Here's the colors that I chose. The packaging is simple. I like the fact that it's clear on top so you can see the color without having to open it. The color is labeled on the back and it's easy to open.
TOP: Love Affair, Hanky Panky, Honeymoon
BOTTOM: Infatuation & Smitten
These blushes are smooth and pigmented. There are a few that stand out to me more than others. The Honeymoon is so beautiful and sparkly. It swatches so nicely. It's my favorite out of them all. Hanky Panky is so pretty as well, if you like a cool toned pink. They are all really nice though. Great quality for an affordable price.
Love Affair ~ Intense pink, coral.
Infatuation ~ Medium matte terracotta.
Hanky Panky ~ Medium Rosy Pink
Smitten ~ Pale creamy apricot.
Honeymoon ~ Light pink with mauve undertones and silver flecks.
Honeymoon is my FAVE!!!

Blonde to Brunette!
Hi My Loves!!
I have had so many people asking me about what I used to go from Blonde to Brunette. I decided to make a video just explaining what I used and how I did it. I hope it helps.
I figured I would add a few photos to show you my before and after and what the color looks like in the tube, as I didn't have any more of it.

AFTER:
Here's what I used:
Paul Mitchell The Color 1/3 5WB, 1/3 6R & 1/3 6G mixed with 20 volume cream developer on my roots and 1/3 6WB, 1/3 6R & 1/3 6G on my ends. I left it on for 35 minutes. I purchased mine at my local Cosmo Prof.

The nice thing about going darker is that I instantly feel more festive ;) Haha no but it really is fun to change it up every now and then. I have been blonde now for so long, so it's nice to look in the mirror and see something different. This color also makes my hair look and feel healthier and it's so much more shiny now. If you are feeling like you need a change, try it! Post a picture on my Twitter or Facebook page. I would love to see!
Also, if you want more hair inspiration… check out my Hair Throughout the Years Blog Post. It shows some of the many colors I have had in my life ;)
Thanks for reading!
