How To: Ombre Hair Tutorial!!

Don't bust my chops for it being so subtle ;) This is how I wanted it, I just wanted to show you guys how to achieve the look..... obviously if you want more extreme you can leave it on longer :)

Paul Mitchell Dual Purpose Lightener (powder bleach)
20 Volume Cream Developer
Mixing Wisk
Tint Brush
Iso Wide Tooth Comb
Cape (nobody wants to ruin their clothes)

The darker your hair naturally, the longer you will have to leave the lightener (bleach) on for. I recommend if your hair is a medium brown or lighter using 20 volume developer..... any darker and you will probably have to use 30. You will have to leave it on anywhere from 15 to 40 minutes, depending on the result you want and how dark your hair is that you are putting it over ;)

I always recommend going to a stylist to get your hair colored but I understand not everyone can afford it..... so if you can't afford to go to a stylist, then I hope this helps :) I'm sure there are many ways to do this hair color, this is just how I find it the easiest :)

Thanks so much for reading/watching!!

  1. oh i love it Sam!! looks so pretty!!! I'm not a huge fan of Ombre hair but this is something I could live with!! I like it subtle like this!!

  2. I could totally tell that your hair was different as soon as i saw it, I LOVE it! Your hair always looks so gorgeous <3 I think it's a lot more unique style of ombre, I'm used to seeing that style a very dark color fading into something lighter never a blond on blond subtle ombre, again I LOVE IT!

  3. Looks Beautiful!!
What colors are good for brown eyes when it comes to eye shadow?
