What camera do you use to record?
Canon T3i for my beauty channel and the Canon G7x for our daily vlog channel.
What lighting do you use for your videos?
I have two box lights from Amazon and the Diva Ring Light from the DVE Store.
What type of dog is Moo (Pixie)?
Moo is a toy poodle, she weighs 5 pounds. Her real name is Pixie but somehow we started calling her Moo and it just sounded right :)
How tall are you?
I'm only 5'2! Some people say I seem taller in my videos but the truth is I'm just a little shorty. I blame it on the fact I didn't drink a lot of milk when I was young....... nothing to do with genetics :)
What did you use to get that pastel pink in your hair?
Scruples Urban Shock in Pink mixed with conditioner. I left it in for about 1 hour.
To keep it vibrant, I used the Wen Cleansing Conditioner. That stuff is the BEST for keeping bright colors in your hair, it doesn't lather so it doesn't strip the color out. As soon as I started using normal shampoo, the pink started fading out... you could see it going down the drain in the shower :(
What are your favorite makeup brushes?
I would have to say my all time favorites are Sigma. Especially the F80 FLat Top Kabuki. I use that everyday to apply my foundation and I am IN LOVE with that brush. I can never use anything else. Brushes really make a difference in your application and can really make or break a look, so I recommend investing in brushes that will make your application easy & effortless. If you can't afford to get a big set at one time, just buy one every now and then and start building your collection. They will last you a super duper long time if you take care of them :)
