Chocolate, White Chocolate & Macadamia Nut Oatmeal Cookie Recipe!

Hi My Loves!!

Today we made Santa some homemade oatmeal, chocolate & macadamia nut cookies. It's a recipe I've actually used for years but this time I just put my own spin on it by adding the white chocolate and macadamia nuts. These cookies turned out delicious!! They are rich and hearty and so so good. I'm pretty sure Santa will love them, as well as anyone else who appreciates a good homemade oatmeal cookie :)

Here's the recipe.... ENJOY!

Here's what the batter looks like once everything is mixed. It's very thick and will give you quite the arm workout (or in my case Jay an arm workout haha)...

Here's the delightful cookies once they are done. I made ours big so they were in the oven for 11 minutes.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
½ lb butter or margarine (2 sticks)
2 c. brown sugar
½ c. white sugar
2 eggs
½ c. water
2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
5 c. old fashioned oats
(1)  12 ounce bag of chocolate chips
(1) 12 ounce bag of white chocolate chips
1 cup chopped macadamia nuts

       Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
       Cream together butter and both sugars, then add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.  Add water and vanilla.
       Sift together flour, baking soda and salt in separate bowl.
       Add sifted dry ingredients to butter/sugar mixture (about ½ cup at a time), stirring after each addition.
       Add oats, then chocolate chips and macadamia nuts. (I add these ingredients a little at a time, mixing well after each addition). The dough will be very thick and dense, best if it is blended using a big spoon rather than a mixer.
       Drop cookie dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheets.
       Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned. Let cool for two minutes then remove from baking sheets and cool on wire rack.
       Store tightly covered.
       Makes at least 6 dozen.  Dough freezes well if stored in airtight container.

I hope you enjoy this recipe and if you do decide to make them, please let me know how you and your family liked them!!

I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and hope that the new year brings you so much love and happiness :) I love you all and I appreciate you all so very much. Thank you for supporting me in all that I do :) Ok, enough sentimental blabs on a cookie recipe ;)

Thanks for reading :)
