Sigma Creme de Couture Macaroon Inspired Makeup Collection First Impressions & Swatches!

Hi My Loves!!!

Sigma just launched their new collection inspired by Macaroons. They named it Creme de Couture Macaroon Inspired Makeup Collection. I have been seeing people post all sorts of pictures of Instagram lately of Macaroons.... I'm feeling I've missed out on the excitement of this, as I've never actually tried one before but I must say they are a very pretty form of yummy treat haha!!

The collection consists of three single blushes and an eyeshadow palette with all sorts of gorgeous girly colors, from pastels to bright to slightly deeper. It came packaged so beautiful with such feminine designs and colors and bows. Just from the outside of the box, I couldn't wait to open it up and see what was inside.

The Creme de Couture Macaroon Inspired Makeup Collection can be purchased as a whole collection for $55 or separately (prices will be included further on in this post). If you spend over $30 you also get a free gift.

The packaging is so pretty!!

The design is very french looking and super feminine. I absolutely love it.

Here's the inside once you open the box. It has pale pink tulle and a pretty white bow.

Here's a picture that Phoenix took of my bird cage and the collection haha. Quite artistic I think ;)

I told him he could open the bow for me.

Inside the box was the all of the info including pricing and colors in the collection. The eyeshadow palette and 3 blushes.

Here is the eyeshadow palette and the little pamphlet that described each color. These are all matte shades ranging from pale to bright to deep. This is a very bright palette, so if you are someone who's Holy Grail palette is something like the Urban Decay Naked... this probably is not going to float your boat. But if you LOVE color... this is your palette! If you want to purchase this separately it's $32.

The packaging of this palette is so beautiful and detailed. It's like a flat box and the top pulls all of the way off to reveal the 16 matte shades. On the back it shows you all of the colors and the names of them too, which I think is great.

You can see how beautiful these colors are. It actually reminds me of one of Phoenix & Lily's favorite cartoons right now.... Henry Hugglemonster. These are some of the exact same colors that are in that show and I just told Jay the other day before I even opened this how much I loved that show because it was so pretty and colorful :) Haha!! Who knew there was a palette waiting for me with the exact colors :)

Even the inside of the lid is pretty. I swear this collection was made for me :) I almost didn't want to swatch it because it's so pretty, if that makes sense.

Here's the blushes. Again the packaging is gorgeous. There are 3 different shades, a light pink, coral pink and a purple. These are $12 if purchased separately.

Blackberry Essence is a tad too purple for my skin. I'm going to try to make it work by mixing it with something else and applying it with a very light hand but this for me is the most unwearable for my skin tone of all the colors.

The detailing that they put in this packaging is so great. They included a little plastic lip so that it's easier to pull the plastic cover off.

Cherry Apple is my favorite! It's the perfect rosy coral pink. These are super pigmented and matte so you don't need much at all. I love this color!

Strawberry Ambrosia is a soft barbie pink. Again a matte shade and very pigmented. This would be best for fairer skin as it is quite light. Super pretty for that innocent flushed cheek.

From Top to Bottom:
Strawberry Ambrosia, Cherry Apple & Blackberry Essence

From Left to Right:
Redberry Rose
 Apricot Flower
 Passion Fruit
Cherry Blossom
Meyer Lemon
Ginger Pumpkin
Cafe au Lait
Blueberry Cream

From Left to Right:
Violet Whip
Lavender Honey
Cassis
Elderberry
Blue Chocolat (wish they would have put another shade in the place of this one as it's super similar to blueberry cream)
Almond Pear
Creme de Menthe
Citron Pistachio

A few of these lighter shades a re a tad bit chalky however that might be me because I don't work with matte colors very often. I prefer to use shimmery eyeshadows. I do like the shade range and it's super beautiful. The top shades will be great for fall and the bottom icy blues and plums will be great for some winter tutorials.

Overall I like this collection. It's so pretty and whimsical, has a great range of colors for those of us who like a bit of color and the blushes are very pretty colors. Please let me know if you would like a tutorial with this palette and blushes. I have a feeling that Cherry Apple will soon become one of my favorites. I'm just so impressed with the packaging of this collection. It's so my style and I really just want to put it on display in my room haha!

Hope this has helped!
