What I Actually Used In The Hospital.....

Hi My Loves!!!

So before I took a month off, I put up a video on You Tube showing what I would be packing in my toiletry bag to the hospital for when I went into labor.

WATCH IT HERE:

I thought I would update you with what I actually used :) Haha it was about half of what I took!!

Pureology Hydrate Shampoo & Conditioner
The day we were able to go home, I took a quick shower at the hospital and it felt so amazing to wash up and not be stuck in bed!!! This was very nice. It had a nice scent and did the trick :)

Loreal Clean Artiste Eye Makeup Remover & 100% Organic Jojoba Oil
I used the oil to remove the 2 day old makeup I was wearing that was hardly on anymore and of course the eye makeup remover to remove my pathetic little clumps of mascara that was still there :) I love both of these products. They are my favorites!!!

Estee Lauder So Polished Exfoliating Scrub
This isn't my absolute scrub of choice but it did the trick of making my dry, hospital skin, feel shiny and new again :)

Ulta Beauty Smoothie Yum Yum Yumberry 3 in 1 Shower Gel & Secret Scent Expressions Cocoa Butter Deodorant
Loved this body wash! It smelled so delicious, lathered nicely and made me clean haha! The deodorant smells good too but I can't honestly say how it works as far as controlling sweat/stank because I used it once.

Burt's Bees Nourishing Baby Oil
Smells like lemon cake (YUM) and is great for skin. I used this on my tummy after I got out of the shower and I also plopped some on the ends of my hair and scrunched it because it was getting a bit frizzy. I wouldn't recommend using it in your hair because once my hair dried, it looked pretty greasified :/

Cotton Pads, Q Tips & A Flannel/Washcloth (whatever you call it)

Toothbrush & Crest Toothpaste
Nothing Snazzy.....

Vichy Aqualia Thermal 24hr Hydrating Fortifying Lotion
Lightweight, gives skin a nice glow but gave me a weird dry patch on my nose that took about a week to go away :( POO!!

Nivea A Kiss of Milk & Honey Lip Balm
Because nobody wants chapped lips :)

That is every little thing I used. Pretty basic. I did not put fresh makeup on while I was there, so my pictures of me look like total poop :( But if you want to know my secret of how to make your pictures of you and your new baby to look cute, even if you have no makeup on and look far from cute...... turn those pictures black & white! It hides all the redness, flaws, wonky splotches from your face and makes it look like a beautiful piece of art :) At least that's what I keep telling myself when I look at them.... haha!

Hope this helps in future labor goers :)

Thanks for reading!
